It wasn't a credit card, it was a debit card from Wells Fargo. I was set up for paperless billing. Wells Fargo sold all of their branches in the surrounding five states to Flagstar. Flagstar does not maintain any Wells Fargo records. When I went on Wells Fargo's website, It would not let me log in. So I called them. I was told that my online account was no longer supported and if I wanted paper copies of my bank records, I would need to appear in person with proper ID at any Wells Fargo branch and I would be helped. The closest Wells Fargo branch is in St. Louis, MO. I live in NE Indiana.

If the other 2 were backerkit’s fault, I’d be led to believe that this was too. Contact backerkit directly:

To answer the original question, nope. Other than spending too much cash, but that's my own damn fault. Now Hasbro Toy Shop/Pulse, Kokomo Toys, Extensive Enterprises Collectibles, Amazon, Walmart.com and numerous Chinese ebay sellers, on the other hand... Point is, MGR is pretty much the only toy outlet that I've never had a problem from.

I want to go back to your original post and the first thing you said because everything else sounds like issues with your bank/debit card.
Your original question was: "Hi. I am just wondering if anyone else has had a bad experience with Marauders Gun Runners? Here is what happened to me. I backed the K-9 Kickstarter with an "All In" pledge. The payment went through without a hitch. But we got the figures when they shipped and one was broken. Told MJ about it and was told I would get a replacement. That never took place." In all the years that I have done business with Marauders (and I have participated in 3 Kickstarters now in addition to all the products bought through their online store), I have never received a broken part that they did not fix. However, you might want to go back and check Marauder's response concerning the broken item, because 99% of the time, their response is something like "make a note in the comment section of your next order and we'll get it replaced." With the Contractor Ops/K9 Kickstarter, I did not receive my Chimera Ops figure. I contacted Marauder and they (1) apologized for the mistake and (2) offered me the option of (A) shipping me the Chimera Ops by itself or (B) Shipping the Chimera Ops with my next order. Marauders has a reputation of offering top-notch customer service. Jason |

Do you have a cell phone with a camera? You can snap a pic and email it to yourself.

In the last two days, you guys have offered more solutions than MGR did over the course of a week.
That is the main point here. I feel like I have been ripped off and they did nothing to offer a solution. |

What solution are you looking for? It seems as though they never got your payment. You can't provide proof that you paid or that you filled out a backerkit survey. Even with paperless billing you should have email statements that prove you were billed. I told you how to look for your backerkit confirmation. Have you done that? It sounds like your issue is with kickstarter or your bank. I know aren't expecting them to give you $700 worth of merchandise without proof of purchase.

I have ordered alot of MTF parts through their store. I have received defects or errors at a rate of less than 2% of the products ordered. With some of their products having 20 items in them, the error rate is closer to 1%. That's across 18 different orders over the years. Then there are the Kickstarter orders on top, which didn't have errors.
Are they perfect? No. Do they have incredible rates of accuracy? Heck yes they do. Best of luck to you. Supply evidence and I expect they are willing to listen. If you can't supply evidence, then I don't know how you expect them to track it down for you. Last edited by hushed; 11-16-2019 at 12:31 PM.. |
