Mattel Loses Most Of Their DC Comics License To Spin Master - The Toyark - News
This is a rumor btw. Still has not been confirmed as far as I know. It's likely true that Mattel lost some of the license to Spin master though. Just re posting for anyone who might have missed the news. Spinmasters is making a push into gaining market share with their How to Train your dragon line this year so it would be reasonably likely. |

Ah, so Mattel is losing the master license is confirmed?
Anyone in the rumor mill know which part of the license Mattel might get? The articles and videos seem to indicate the DC license being split up between the two companies. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...to-spin-master |

The three-year global agreement with Warner Bros. begins in Spring of 2020. Mattel will be keeping some of its licensing rights, including for preschool and girls’ toys, Goldman analyst Michael Ng said in a note to clients. Ng expects Mattel to “aggressively pursue” new licenses, noting that Hasbro Inc.’s licenses to Marvel and Star Wars toys expire in 2020. |

I honestly wish this is a start of another 3.75 boom or resurgence. At least hoping for NOT undersized, under articulated and overpriced waste -of-plastic figures.
