The singlepack Bandolier reminds me more of HeavyDuty v1 than Roadblock.

So, Teknique... I cut/pasted her breather in place on her face and I'm gonna scrounge up some goggles to put over her cartoony eyes. Those touches, some weathering and a slathering of DullCote, along with a swappable bare-faced head should all go a nice way to 'realify' her to working nicely with the rest of my 18ths.
I'm thinking she's gonna be a sort of mutant 'Illustrated Man' update such that anything she draws she can render in 3D as a real 'living' object to the extent of her willpower and overall health/energy. Unfortunately, she can't enlarge/ensmallen them from the size they are when drawn, so she runs the streets with an auto-filling paint roller drawing graphitti and bringing it to 'life'. Constructs generally last a few minutes but there have been much longer-lasting examples. I imagine them working in combat like holodeck forcefield characters with the safeties off if that's how Tek is directing them. The more she has running the less specific-action control she has and the more they act like their 'natural' personality. I'm thinking to get a bunch of nice cartoony-style monsters and whatnot to be her library of graphitti constructs. As usual, expressive articulation is a priority over looks. The recent Tom & Jerry I saw might be good. Those Bendy and the Ink Machine figures I've seen at WM might work well, too. Anybody got other suggestions? |

Walmart sells real cheap dinosaurs under the Adventure Force brand, as well as some more mundane animals (sometimes in different display areas). Target also has some semi-cheap animals and even dragons on some of the endcaps in the toy section, or sidecaps along some of the main aisles.
Or, how about those cheap Terror Corpse zombies that regularly appear on Amazon? They have limited articulation, and don't look real fancy, but I hear that just a little bit of work (such as a single application of Dullcote) can improve their looks quite a bit. If you're willing to try painting, then you can get even better results. EDIT: I sorta misunderstood Ozy's question above, so I don't know if any of this is really relevant.

found the 4 pack at the Walmart in Fort Walton Beach Florida last night.
Unfortunately my Brite Bomber had a janky left foot! And my Rex had a loose right knee. I went back, and bought another 4-pack,and that Brite Bomber had a junky right foot!! I’ve purchased the entire line already. The single carded figures, the early game load out Omega figure, the piƱata with a Rust lord, the building set,the 4-pack,and all 5 loot crates. The figures are riddled with QC issues! My first Rust Lord had two left upper thighs...I took him back, and my second Rust lord’s right ankle joint is cast off center. My first Omega figure both shoulder joints where miss cast, and pertuded from his shoulders...unfortunately I lost his receipt,so I’m stuck with one that’s crappy, but still bought a replacement. You literally have to buy multiples of each figure, and cobble together a quality toy. At the price they want that’s kinda absurd imo. They’re fun figures to pose, and fiddle with! The lack of QC shows!! The building set is BS! I’ve already broke 3 pieces, just assembling&disassembling them one time. I have every building piece available from the figures, crates, and the main set. Plan to pop them on eBay with a disclaimer instead of letting them collect dust.

That's too bad. The only figure I have so far is as solid as anything else I've ever purchased. I've definitely seen other people reporting QC issues, but the overall impression I get is that they're generally solid. I do plan to pick up at least a couple more at some point. Given how popular the figure line is, I'd expect Jazwares to address any common QC issues before too long.

I have my set and my kids have a set which has been played to death! No q.v. issues for mine nor my kids stufff. They build bunkers and towers nonstop and my five year old is still a toy clanger when the figures fight. Very satisfied with the q.v. on my end thus far .

I didn't even have any issues with Omega's shoulders as I've been hearing is typical.

The second Omega I got is perfect. One of the single carded figures is a repaint with a different head, and he’s perfect as well.

Anyone else notice there’s 13 figures in this first run? Their OG13! Lol!

I’m not sure what makes the one guy I’ve seen at Walmart $7 more expensive than the $12.99 guys except an umbrella. Is that a $7 umbrella? I may pick up some of the basic figures if I see them, but I’m always wary of Jazzwares QC (looking at you, Street Fighter)

Omega comes with Teknique's umbrella *and* Raptor's backpack. Or, an umbrella and a backpack; anyway. I think they look/work best with Tek' and Raptor, respectively.
