I've been picking up some interesting stuff from Amazon lately. I found this today, but haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075XFP8KF...c-43f4ba91da25 It looks like a knock-off of the True Heroes Sentinel 1 AB-115 Shark Plane. The plastic appears significantly cheaper for sure, but it seems to be about the same size - it says 22.5" long by 24.5" wide. For the price - $34 - it doesn't seem like a bad buy. But looks can be deceiving. Now this one - https://www.amazon.com/WolVol-Fricti...JB2T2MP90CPE8C - I am almost certain is going to be closer to 1/24 scale, based on a purchase I made earlier. The truck body looks exactly the same except for the paint. I picked up a couple of these friction drive construction vehicles because they seemed good candidates for diorama background props after a little customization. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This one is the one that came in way too small. The box says 1:16. My eyes say "no". The other two I purchased were better. The crane - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - was listed as the same brand as the first (WolVol), but despite the box saying 1:12 scale, it's very close to 1:18, and similar in quality to Bruder. Although nobody is fitting in the cab of that crane if they're 1:18 scale. The scissor lift truck - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - is pretty decent too, if feeling slightly cheaper than the crane.

Now THIS abomination...
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Where do I begin. This is what makes me hesitate to buy that WolVol "F16 Bomber", because at a glance this looks similar to the True Heroes transport set available a few years back. The trailer is definitely a knock-off of the same mold, only slightly different. The wheels are cheaper. The tractor vehicle looked interesting, so I figured, what the hell? Look at the back of the box - lots of tantalizing vehicles we wish were available. I'd love to have a HETT in my collection. Or a War Pig! But then I look in the box and see this: One of the worst quality control mishaps I've ever witnessed. Upon removing the figure from the vehicle, which I almost lost my finger because it was wire tied inside, and forcing my adult digit through the window in an attempt to untie this head-wounded soldier discovered the plastic to be razor sharp. After using a pair of diagonal cutters instead, I see this horrific visage: Can you imagine the years of therapy it will take for an adult to recover having received this nightmare inducing abomination as a childhood gift? Holy hell. In short, the vehicle is crap unless you want to customize it, and even then - I think it will take a lot of work to make it a good vehicle. The helicopter is weird - it has a friction motor as well, with wheels at the rear to drive it across the ground. Which doesn't make sense. Why not use the friction motor to drive the rotors? Either way, there's no cockpit for figures. Just painted on windows. I'll leave you with the tag line on the rear of the box, which I enjoyed: If you’d have delivered a decent HETT like you advertised on the back of your box, I might enjoy it. But you’ve only delivered weeds to my military garden, shoddy China knock-off toy company.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy the knock-off of the AB-115 Shark Plane. $34 is better spent on quality stuff.

Good writeup! Yeah, that "military garden" line has to be one of the best I've heard in a while. At least there were no typos, as badly as the grammar was mangled. I came across that Shark knockoff not too long ago, along with some of their other items; to me it actually looks pretty high-quality for a knock-off (not so much the figures, though). I also like the camo look. If you do get it, you gotta let us know how it is.

I bought a taxi and police car from the same 1:16 line, they work for smaller/slimmer figures after some modding, the ambulance was vastly undersized, the cranes look pretty good though. Thanks for sharing!
