Yeah, I've got six and have had a wrist and ankle simply crumble away one me for a 33% fragility percentage.
I got in a pair of the WarOfOrder dudes yday and they have similar Figma engineering for the joints but they're *much* sturdier-feeling. The torso engineering is a bit different and sturdier-feeling as well. There are design issues with the guys I got (Medic and Assassin) that need to be fixed in the future for me to fully embrace that line, but it's got a lot of features these JoyToys lack. |

I finally opened up some of the USMC (not Rangers as I said earlier)...
I am in love. Joints are perfect, not tight and not too loose. Sculpting is great, posing is great. Perfect additions to my Joe verse as green shirts or just backup to the joes as Army Rangers in a joint operations capacity. I don’t get the hate for these. Meh. Joes, Star Wars, NECA. they all break. That’s what super glue is for.
I don’t mean to be dismissive. They break, they break, they don’t, they don’t. At the end of the day, all action figures are just made of plastic and it will wear down/break at some point. I will say this: I have purchased every 1/18 figure this company has put out and not one has broken so far. As far as breaking figures, Acid Rain is the worst I’ve experienced. I’ve had many that break immediately after opening or arrived broken. Mostly knees, shoulders, and wrists. Last edited by nightrattler; 09-17-2019 at 05:59 PM.. |

That’s great. I’ve been collecting Joes for 35 years. I’ve had quite a few that broke right out of the package or with gentle play.
Like I said, at the end of the day, it’s plastic. They will break. Last edited by nightrattler; 09-17-2019 at 06:06 PM.. |

In this drought of 1/18, I would rather have a company make some sweet figures that might break rather than no figures at all.

I've got the USMC, Force Recon, and US Airborne sets sitting in my BBTS Pile of Loot. I don't think I can relegate these to background character duty -- they kind of make other 1/18 military figures look like trash.

The Force Recon is what I’m waiting for. Looking for a good review
