These Our War figures were decent. GI Joe articulation, weapons were over sized and headsculpts wrent the greatest. The set of 7 was $50 shipped from China, but they're kinda scarce now. This seller has 6 of the 7 currently at $12 each.

Those 101st toys are junk. Bad sculpts, lame heads, and crappy QC. One of mine had two right hands. I would not buy those.

My 101st toys weren't fine, no QC issues. As I said the heads are lame and weapons a tad large. I replaced the heads and weapons are they're decent now.

The best of the best, are marauder inc. Select the bodies with regular feet(no lower leg guard stuff) and kit them up with military vests and helmets with appropriate accessories and it's the closest you can ever get.
The catch is that every single soldier can easily go $30-35+, but nothing even comes close. |

Again, I assume the "authenticity" of the camo is up for debate, but there are camo options.

Here's some of the MTF figures I put together.
Volga using the Spec Ops camo pattern. Works well for Eastern European and South American forces, even though it's not a real world pattern. Sam Carter (SG-1) and Shooter using Field Ops. Falcon and "Bombstrike" using the Recon Ops camo, which is basically the U.S. Army's Scorpion Camo and it can pass for Multi-Cam at this scale. Desert fighter using the Desert Ops pattern. SWAT Sniper using the Urban Ops pattern.

Thanks, it's helpful to see examples. So those are Joe heads on MTF bodies?

All of those heads are MTF heads, but POC and up sized Joe heads look great on MTF bodies.
