Update** Thanks for the info guys. It came out way too light blue, almost smurf-like. I'll probably do another coat another day if I find a better shade of blue.
Does anyone know if the head and limbs of this Marvel Korg 3.75 figure are removable and re-attachable? I'm wanting to paint him grey/blue to match his Thor Ragnarok appearance. Thanks in advance. Last edited by BeachheadMatt; 12-04-2018 at 01:19 PM.. |

I think Korg is my favorite MCU character. With rumors of him directing Guardians 3, I hope that he makes an appearance and then spins off into a nine movie series.
The head should be removable. |

I read somewhere that they (those involved with making the Marvel movies) are not done with Korg yet. That they are certain he will be making more appearances.

I might be wrong on the legs. Typically, that style can be boiled and popped, but i wouldn't swear to it. The head is one of the few MU figures that is on a swivel. Sometimes, you can boil and pop a swivel, sometimes, not.

Well, in that case, I'll probably stick to painting him with the limbs still attached.

Couldn't quite get the shade of blue right. The more grey I added, the more light blue he became. Well, still like it better than the orange.

Yeah, nothing but the head is really pull-removeable. The elbows, knees, wrists, and ankles are best heat-popped but the hips, ribcage, and shoulder joints require cracking the body shells.
