There was a couple of other toys I saw at Marshall's around the first part of January, but I thought this thread would most likely die out right after Christmas. Since you guys still seem to enjoy it, I'll keep trying to post what I find here and see about having the thread renamed. In Marshall's I found these 2 Navy Jets and a small tracked army drone set: I picked up the small light gray jet set. Fellow tanker Patricio just did a video review of the Soldier Force version here: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/toys/4...rce-9-a-2.html

That green jet is really cool. I'm loving this thread. Lots of cool stuff floating around out that that has a lot of potential for customs.

Not much to be found at the moment, but I have noticed this inexpensive line of military vehicles popping up at random variety & independently owned dollar store type places. The line is labeled as "Army Battlefield To Dominate". The funniest thing about these are on the packaging which reads "Military Trucks, Equipment, Transportation Of Helpers". I'm very curious about that "Helpers" part.
The jeep set we've all seen before looks to be a Chap Mei mold(or knockoff of) made in a cheaper plastic with different wheels. The tank mold I didn't recognize, but it looked interesting. I didn't get a picture of it, but in a different store I'd also seen this same tank included in a long boxed semi truck and trailer set that was similar to the True Heroes set with the big rockets on the trailer, but without the rockets and a different mold of semi cab. That same set also had a version with a helicopter instead of the tank. If anyone has more info or pics of other vehicles in this line, please post it.

Slightly necro-bumping, but it's worth it...
I found this Adventure Force "Utility Vehicle" plumbing van ("The Final Plunge") at Wal-Mart for $9.99 and I thought, "hey, that would make a fun police stakeout van." So I checked it out and it gets even more fun. It's pretty much Joe-scale (though the driver's seat is cramped for leg room - some dremel work could take care of that), the front doors open, the rear doors open, it has lights and sounds, and it includes a porta-potty! Unfortunately, the porta-potty is a bit undersized: However, it's still pretty amusing: And best of all, if you take two screws out of the back panel of the porta-potty's storage bay that entire wall drops out. After that, remove the battery compartment and electronics (or simply relocate them) and you will have the entire inside of the van available to lay down a new floor and make a surveillance van: They had a few other vehilces in this same assortment (fire engine, cement mixer, and a garbage truck - maybe others) but I was just passing the end cap on my way to checkout when this van caught my eye. It was the most in-scale of any of the vehicles I noticed, but I plan to sneak back over there as soon as possible to take a closer look at the rest. If they are as feature-packed and useful as this van (and it looked like they're all $10) I will have to buy some more from the assortment.

I'm going to post a few shots of the interior with the wall removed. Joes can stand up straight with room to spare and there is a crap-ton of floor space. On second look I think the electronics don't need to be altered at all. If you were to build a wall panel and a floor plate you can rest the floor on the battery compartment and hide the wires between the existing wall and the new wall panel. This van has serious custom potential.
