Has anybody purchased one of these from this Russian Seller on Ebay?

Wow, that thing is awesome! I can't justify $109 between the price plus shipping, but if it were available domestically, I'd get one.

Very cool. Not $100 worth of cool, but if I found one cheaper I would be interested. It looks like it was based on the MAZ-543/7310. I'll have to poke around and see if I can find one at a better price.

I've got the radar and missile launching ones but I bought them from someone that was a bit cheaper about a year back. They are basically the same front end with last half swapped out.
Nordplast is the maker which may help you find cheaper ones. I like they are detailed nicely and in scale and vehicles we would normally not see. The plastic type is that cheap lightweight plastic that you see dumptrucks and boats for the pool made out of. |

I think these are in the same category as the Gay Toys from the 80's, if anyone remembers those. Low-cost, lightweight shell vehicles designed for sandboxes and things like that. (They were pretty rugged, IIRC)

Those are nordplast.
Nordplast is a Russian toymaker that makes sandbox toys. They're in scale with 1:18 so they're very popular in Russia. |
