I didnt see the toys but the 1st 10 min into the movie my jaw dropped when I saw them! There was that sequence when they were flying between the mountains and over the water and I was just like "holy f***!!!! Skynet is teaming up with Cobra and using their friggin Rattlers!"

I didn't know those planes were that fast and maneuverable! Unless Hollywood is glorifying them, I was impressed.

It isn't a Rattler. It is an A-10, the real-life plane the Rattler is a take-off on.
Terminator Salvation: Vehicles Note the lack of the rotating VTOL engines from the Rattler. Similar sure, but more true to the real world plane than the Rattler. Except that it is apparently about 9 inches long.

Oh, I think a Joe figure would probably fit in the cockpit, but pictures have shown the thing to be quite small, and people who've picked it up say it is tiny. I specifically read 8-9" in somebody's review.

Don't forget that the Terminator toys are made by Playmates and the G.I. Joe toys are Hasbro. I doubt Hasbro would lend them the molds for the Rattler...
