While we are on it, I would love to see them do a Gi Joe/transformers crossover. I would certainly buy a Hisstank that you could fit a joe in that transformed.
I don't know if my brain could contain that level of awesome.

I know, doesn't add up does it? I would love to see a crossover line, one day, when I have a few thousand to burn, I'll have some of these amazing tankers do some custom TFs for me, LOL!

A proper crossover line would be awesome, and they had mock ups at a previous botcon of the military line of alts, which were supposedly Joe scale.
It mainly comes down to price I think. If anything, we'd end up with the crappy crossovers line like Star Wars and Marvel. We'd get vehicles that transformed into crappy looking Joes and Cobras. |

While we're on that subject of scale, it was very disturbing doing Joe vs Transformers with the joes being taller than bumblebee, and just a bit smaller than Starscream. That is why we now have Masterpiece transformers! Still not in my prefered scale, but usable. I hated also how blaster was bigger than soundwave, Galvatron was bigger than Rodimus, Dino's were taller than constructicons, and Megs was bigger than optimus. I know why, but I don't like it.

The original line of TFs were taken from other lines and mashed up into what we now know and love, which is why a lot of them are bigger than others in vehicle mode and robot mode. The Autobot cars, and the Seekers all have spots for pilots/drivers, which the pre-transformers line had. So, the first few figures are in scale with each other, while others, like the combiners, the triple changers, and a few others were not. The 85 movie era figures and those after were all brand new figures, so they are really bigger than the originals. These days, they have different sizes for different price points. It is annoying because while they look good in bot mode next to each other, you put them in vehicle mode, and they just look off. Bumblebee and the other movie cars are in scale to each other, and then you got two different sized Primes...lol. It's odd sometimes. |

On the subject of Joes and Transformers, I too found Chromia an awesome addition to the Joe Team!
