Does anyone know which movie-toy lines have been successful? I assume transformers and Star wars, but anything else?

Well, I'm hoping to pick up the bridge playset for a good price.
I'll use it with my Star Wars stuff, though. A display piece for Grand Admiral Thrawn. |

I never liked the figures. They were horrible with a capital "H"
While we're on the issue of playmates. Terminator toys have been knocked down as well. |

the bridge playset requires parts that were supposed to be released in future waves; if the figures are already clearanced, i wonder what that means for the missing bridge pieces.

Marshalls and TJ Maxx just had figures. Walmart had an entire display cap marked down including the playset. I flipped through them looking for SPock (didn't find him but they had a TON of "old" Spock) the only price I remember is $4.99 for the single figures but every Star Trek item was marked down so check it out.

I picked up 10 Star Trek figures last week at WM for $2 each. 4 McCoy, 1 Pike, 1 Kirk, 4 Chekov. All for their items only.
