How does Jack look with an MTF vest/armor on? I'm a little worried that those traps of his will push the armor up and make it look awkward. He's a little too vanilla for my taste without any gear on.
$27 for background filler characters never really made sense to me. Someone should make statically posed 4" scale zombies and civilians that are super-affordable. They don't all need "hero figure" articulation. You could have your horde of zombies or crowd of civilians and only the front row are articulated. Trying to make a massive display with these -- which is pretty much the whole point when it comes to zombies -- is prohibitively expensive.

Derpy?
Looks more like his pupils are dilated from the trauma of seeing a zombie.

Zoe is such a bizarre looking figure. I wonder who designed that face sculpt?

I picked up both suited females from BBTS but plan to use Marauder or some other head. The head sculpts are just weird.

So having these in hand, I am happy with them in general. They are really good for the most part, but that is the real problem. They are so close to being great, yet a number of little QC issues hold them back. The wrong colored joint pins, wobbly heads and knees, lazy eyes, joints that are uniformly breaking (Ashley’s left elbow)- I argue that some of those could have been smoothed out if they didn’t rush the line. They set an extremely tight deadline and were comparatively close to hitting it. Marauders and Boss Fight were so much more set on getting the product as perfect as possible, leading to a lot of delays. I think the results speak for themselves, as those lines, overall, are much tighter and cleaner in their execution. Also, they had the same factory, so the difference is hard to excuse. That is the same point MJ and BFS made- would you rather fast toys or great toys? Ultimately, I wish that Zombie Lab had taken the time to ensure that everything was done to exacting standards and weren’t so concerned with deadlines that they went a little too fast in the endgame.
TL;DR- these toys are really good, but they should have used more time for QC.
