Anyone get a survey invite yet? It sounded like they were coming soon, but then I've not heard anything since.

I contacted them last week and asked the same thing and they replied right away saying they wanted to get the heads painted so we can see exactly what we are getting when additional orders are placed. I will try to find the email.

Here ya go.
Locker Toys Group says: Ya, not yet. After the testing, some backers reflect that they want to see all the solid heads sculptures. Therefore, now we are doing the sculpture things. If the all heads are done. The platform will be relaunch. Ok so not painting, sculpting but you get the point.

I'm getting nervous about this. Still no survey kit.
A few people expressed their nervousness on the Kickstarter comment page and locker room kinda went off on one guy. Then suddenly we all get an update saying the survey is coming soon. They said the survey would be open in October, then they said November, then December. The posting today said it would still happen this month, but it's 3 days away. They said it keeps getting delayed so that "you can take out time selecting", but that doesn't make sense. Since they are working with Bossfight, I wish bossfight would say something to help calm people down. Their reputation is on the line too since their name is all over the kickster. I'm sure (well, hoping) everything is fine, but they do kinda keep stringing us along. |

I think some of the newer entries into the 1:18 Kickstarter scene have found it is more work and not as smooth as they thought. TBH it makes me appreciate what a great job the Marauder team have done on their kickstarters.
There also has been more of a trend to use Backerkit to maximise post-KS campaign sales rather than simply use it as a tool to select rewards from the campaign. This means that they want to have something more tangible to attract more money to the project. It is frustrating when project milestones or updates are promised and then don’t happen. I’d personally prefer regular updates, even if they are to say that progress has been slow. If they are unsure, I’d rather they said which year quarter rather than a specific month, if unknown, to set expectations. |

What we can do is wait patiently. These guys gonna deliver the goods soon.
There is something though that we've learned from these new kickstarters. It's never easy. It won't be faster. Even with the help of people who already done it two times (Boss Fight Studio, Marauder Task Force). There are many parts where you only can step forward by trial and error. Even a Hong Kong based company won't get you lightspeed. It's patience what we need. |

Look at it this way: even a large, established, and well-funded company like Hasbro still takes a year or more to get an assortment from paper to peg.
