Hi guys,
Did you Boss Fight followers/customers get an email from BFS on or around the 4th (Friday) announcing they're going to be working on a 4'' Bucky O'Hare line? I haven't seen anyone talking about this yet on the 'Tank yet, despite it being a bit of a strange surprise. For anyone who hasn't seen, the email appears as follows: ~~~~~~~~ Boss Fight Studio is proud to announce an exciting new expansion to our Collectible Toy offering! We will be producing a brand-new, highly-articulated range of 4" scale Bucky O'Hare, his S.P.A.C.E. allies and Toad enemies! Created by Larry Hama and Michael Golden, Bucky O'Hare tells the story of a brave band of mammal freedom fighters combating the all-conquering Toad Empire! Stay tuned for updates on this exciting new line of products! Visit bossfightstudio.com ~~~~~~~~ And, Boss Fight's website has an announcement regarding this new line as well. I'll admit that I wasn't expecting this, but I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't intrigued.

Definitely Intrigued. This looks like an opportunity to get that elusive Jaxxon figure Hasbro will never do.

These might be cool. I wonder if they would push to make Bucky's ship.

I just wonder why they think this property is appropriate for the 4" scale. They're not going to be sitting on shelves next to GI Joe or Star Wars, they're going to be next to TMNT figures. These should be, at the minimum, in the 5" scale. I'm sure they're getting emails about this.
Personally, I don't care at all about Bucky. I remember it, but I never bought into it as a kid. |

I still have a few of my old Bucky O'Hare figs from back in the day; I'm glad to see the series getting another go, especially in the only scale I actively collect in anymore.

I don't think their intention is to have this sitting on shelves; they're probably going to sell through their online store, like they do with HACKS. If they do go to stores, they'll probably be in the collector section, which means they most likely will be close to the Joes.

By "shelves", I meant collector display shelves, not store shelves. Stylized, anthropomorphic creatures tend to pair better with other stylized, anthropomorphic creatures (TMNT), rather than more realistic and naturalistic lines like Joe, Star Wars, HACKS, MTF, erc. It's kind of an unwritten rule that if you're doing wacky, colorful characters, you make them bigger and chunkier.
