Ok. So I could go back, drop the $50, and be done with it. That's not so bad. If I didn't just drop a crapton on Amazon purchases, FSS 5.0, Eagle Force, and buying from a fellow Tanker, I'd probably go back and do that pretty much right away. I'll wait for my next paycheck first.

Good call! It's $39.99 for the set from BBTS, so with shipping, it'll probably come out to about $47 like you said.

Got these from BBTS a few days ago; using the Bag of Loot system, shipping only came out to $5 (and that was with 3 other carded figures in the shipment!). Just pulled them out of the package today. Overall, they are quite impressive; definitely a step or two above most of the Jazwares figures from a few years back. Not just in terms of sculpting, but insofar as they feel much sturdier (Jazwares' Baraka and Reptile broke on me right out of the package, though none of my other 8 or so Jazwares figures have broken yet). Scorpion's left thigh swivel gave me a bit of concern, as it was stuck out of the package, and I was afraid to try to break it in "cold"; I ran it under hot water for a few seconds, and it broke in right away!
A few more observations on the figure quality: *They scale OK to most modern figures, but do feel a bit "small". I think Mezco might have scaled them versus Star Wars, as opposed to most other modern era figures (sort of like what NECA did with their Gears of War figures). *Elbows don't have a great range of motion. They only get maybe around 60 degrees of bend. *Knees are single-jointed, and don't bend a full 90 degrees, but have a swivel. *Sub-Zero's knees don't straighten out fully. *Lateral leg movement tends to be limited, either by "skirts" or by design. Forward leg movement is better than expected; the "skirts" aren't too stiff as to totally inhibit movement. *Sub-Zero's waist joint is buried under his skirt, and is a bit tough to manipulate. Scorpion's and Raiden's are easier to pose. *As mentioned, only Scorpion has thigh rotation. *Scorpion's mask isn't removable. Nor is Raiden's hat, as mentioned earlier. *The figures' footpeg holes are disappointing. They aren't sized to the modern figure standard, but use a slightly larger hole. The holes are shallow, and slightly tapered, so they don't attach to the stands very securely at all. *The stands include an attachment for simulating airborne attacks. The aerial stand attachment connects securely to the foot stand, and connect to the figure's lower back by means of another peg. These pegs, amusingly, ARE compatible with Joes and other modern figures (but this doesn't appear to be intentional, as the fit tends to be loose). The peg on the aerial stand is connected via a hinge; the hinge is *just* tight enough to support a figure's weight, but not much more. The hinge is secured via a Philips head screw, so it could probably be disassembled and coated in nail polish or superglue to be "tightened" up. In any event, I think these are worth the $40 for the 3-pack. At $17 each, they're a bit harder to recommend. I'll see if I can't get some comparison pics up versus the older Jazwares figures, and also using the aerial stand attachments. On a side note, I happened to swing by TRU for unrelated reasons today, and I didn't see the 4'' figures in the collector's aisle. I found one single Sub-Zero in a different location, hanging on a peg where the 6'' figures were being clearanced out; I don't know if it was supposed to be there or not, and I didn't check if it too was being clearanced. I never saw Raiden or Scorpion at this location at all, so who knows.

Took some pics!
First off, comparisons between the Mezco and Jazwares versions of Sub-Zero and Scorpion. (I don't have Jazwares's Raiden, so no comparison pics for him.) The Jazwares ones have nice detail in spots, but aren't as consistently good as Mezco's, and the build quality and paint apps aren't up to their level. (I think the MK9 design of Scorpion Jazwares released is a cooler design, but the overall quality isn't as good as Mezco's.) Next, here's that aerial stand in action. Note that with Sub-Zero holding his sledgehammer, the hinge just barely supports his weight. This definitely could have been implemented a bit better, but it's better still than nothing. And two more for flinching! Here they are compared to the Hasbro "totally NOT G.I. Joe, guys" versions from '94.

I got Scorpion and Sub Zero. Only one that I thought looked off in size was Sub Zero. Scorpion is near perfect and same with Raiden.
