I like the Joe-like construction. I remember when we voted in the beginning of the thread. I don't know what else could be "reworked".

It'd be nice if more people were vocal to explain to you why they aren't contributing. I've said my peace and I wouldn't be surprised if more people felt exactly the same way. Unfortunately it looks like the campaign isn't going to be funded. Are you going to go back to the drawing board, make some changes, and try again?
As far as why people aren't contributing, I have not contributed because of my experience with Falcone's previous Kickstarter. What measures have been taken to make sure that shipping for backers (not people buying off of your webstore) will be done in a timely manner after product has been received?

So- that's why I've watched but held off... I really would have liked to have seen this happen (maybe a last minute rush can push it past the finish line) but it was a kickstarter that i would have to see the final product before dropping any money on it. And falcon- I don't want this at all to come off as an attack- it's not! I think you have a great concept here, but the presentation just didn't fill me with confidence that the final figure will match what you say it will. |

You make some fair enough points, but this part I do not agree with. What exactly is sloppy about the digital colorings? None of the colors are "out of the lines" and none of the model details were covered. Quite a bit of time was spent in Photoshop applying color to the digital renderings. |

Uhh, Falcone, you do know that people don't trust digital renders as much as actual factory painted product right?
I don't recall actually seeing a final physical copy of the figure painted or not on the kick starter at all. I also recall that the last project that you got funded had a final physical model that people could see what they were funding. I already contributed to the kickstarter at the beginning, but I'm having a hard time getting anyone else in. It's actually gone quite well all things considered |

Why didn't all of you guys speak up when he first dropped the Kickstarter and asked for feedback? Some of my thoughts are being repeated now that the time is already half over.
Great idea Falcone and I see great possibilities here. You might want to look into partnering with someone that has more experience (production and marketing side of things) or even reaching out to some people that have had successful Kickstarter campaigns.

Sorry, wasn't thinking particularly hard at the time. Just contributed money in and went away. Had a good look the other day though, Falcone's kickstarter is doing pretty good considering it's double the funding of the previous project though. It's gonna fall short by a large margin though. |

This Kickstarter can succeed, it's just a matter of if someone wants to put in the leg work to get it out there in front of the people that would buy in.

I'm sure lots of people think this looks great-I know you said you think the color renderings are fine- but to me it just looks very rushed. You don't have to agree- but just know that went towards my call on signing up or not- I'm still hoping for a 4th quarter rush that can put you over the top- I would be really interested in seeing the final product and buying them if they turn out like you want them to. Good Luck Falcone! |
