I read this earlier!
Here's an effing idea!
Stop sticking Batman, in the same damn costume in every 3 pack!
Alot of new characters are introduced in the 3 packs, but to get the one or two new ones, you've got to add to your mammoth pile of batmen, supermen, etc.
I bought some of these for my daughter a few years ago after giving her all my older animated DC stuff, and she's got at LEAST 3 Wonder Women. In addition, the 3 packs have no accessories, but their later, if any, single carded releases do, so it's a gamble and waiting game. Seriously, the initial 3 packed Green Arrow? No BOW! And there was no clue of a later release.
So with probably the cheapest toy line to produce, they managed to kick themselves in the asses.
Is it cheaper to put Batman(or whoever) in every single pack when the entire line is damn near unarticulated repaints? Even the new characters usually require no new sculpt.
Oh? Whats that? You include all the Batman so the kids will want the set? Oh! So now collectors are supposed to save the line that is all "for them!" And...Newsflash: Every kid in America has a batman. Every single one. Turn on CNN, I bet it's there.
Finally, thanks for making a line of toys with typically 4-5 points of motion, but most of them have a knee all crazy bent to one side, their sad, plastic dreams of free standing without support violently shattered by your manufacturing incompetence.
Good riddance, now maybe you can release more than 20 MOTU figures and make them less than $20. Oh, that's right, that line is going fail too, because if you didn't get on board to buy expensive figures from day one, you can't have a regular he-man, this negating collecting a line based on the character.
And give me a freaking Gleek, for crying out loud.

I like all of my mattel products and switching factories is awesome. It means they care about the product and don't want arms that break off theit figs at the elbow or hands that can't hold their guns *cough* hasbro *cough*. I'm just not a fan of JLU. Speaking of failing lines, Wolverine movie figures are 2 for 10.49 at TRU and the Motorcycle pack is 35% off too. Is this gonna end up the new Indy line?

the problem with the current target wave clogging the pegs is that mattel wentback into their old ways again. they have 3 packs with 1 new figure in each. so basically, if you are a collector the new 3 new figures were capt. atom, question, & the supergirl copy w/ short hair. they are bloody repaints at that except maybe for question, the hat sculpt is probably new. but 30+ dollars for these guys, no thanks. the only format that works for me are the last 6 packs. there you got 5 new characters & 1 repack. too bad they want collectors to foot the bill. i have dealt with tons of mattel's bs over the yrs, f them & f jlu. they already have a great superhero: dcuc, focus on that brand and make it better.
also a quick note, the online figure jlu 4 packs are just plain crazy in terms of price. they are almost 40 dollars shipped for 4 guys? wtf is that about, a 3 pack at target is 10-13 dollars.

I say bring on new new DCUC figures and re-release some of the older waves like Solomon Grundy or finally introduce the new body style for the Infinite Heroes, making all my older ones obsolete.
If they didnt have the Four Horsemen, Mattel wouldnt even have a collectors market.
Tis a sad day when a company has to have their buyers make up for their mistakes
