The prior TRU exclusives over the years point to Hasbro still having some interest in the brand, so I expect there to be product in support of the film (I think we even saw listings from TRU a few months back, including some variation on the Mashers style).
That said, I don't expect to see ME Joe based figures. Given the cost cutting and such, I think if we see any figures, they'll be the simple 5 POA figures, if not some sort of mini-figures (which will make them to SCALE! :p )

I'd still love to see some of those JP protos that haven't been released. But I'm not holding my breath.

I think Hasbro is missing out if they don't attempt a vintage collection style line for the humans at least.
Just redo all the characters from 1 on updated versions of the old cards and toss in the major Jurassic World characters. Keep the tiny dinos and maybe the trading cards but toss the huge accessories. Last edited by SPECTER; 11-26-2014 at 01:32 AM.. |

Yeah, Hasbro definitely has something up their sleeve for this line. Being a JP toy collector myself, I can't wait!

Not really going to get my hopes up for full figures of JP1 characters mixed in with World's but Lego has to be a guarantee right?
Im expecting Dr Grant, the Ford Explorers and the Jeeps at the very least. |

I'm wondering would they do something like they did for Indy a few years back?

To me it makes sense but I also cared more about the humans and vehicles than just dinosaurs and was a hardcore collector of every JP line(even Chaos Effect) Lego has to imo, how many opportunities will they have with the license? A few sets back with JP3 14 years before Jurassic World was it. I think random dinosaur sets, a few movie scene tie in sets and a big ticket set will be Jurassic World themed with maybe a few legacy filler. 2 sets i'd definitely take this opportunity to make thought. Ford Explorer tour car with Dr Grant, Tim and Lex. Jeep utility vehicle with Malcolm, Muldoon , Sattler and maybe a T-Rex or Jeep with Nedry and a Dilophosaurus |
