I saw the transporter set there (no interest to me...it's too much of a 'toy' for my liking), but not the bridge.
I suppose at the end of the day, this really doesn't matter, as I've no place for a Star Trek set up anyhow. As I said, it was a whim. I was just caught up in the moment after seeing the film. The figures themselves are less than impressive (Kirk looks like Ryan Renolds with downs syndrome). The upside is that I think I've found my head for a Pythona custom I've been plotting.

I got the spock, have no interest in any of the others so I have his bridge piece and chair if anyone needs it.

i bought chekov, uhura, sulu, and nero today. which are the only descent figures. spock and mccoy are kinda ok but kirk is just terrible. maybe if playmates releases more waves will get a good kirk head sculpt. they have plenty of options too:
1. black shirt kirk 2. cadet kirk 3. kobiyashi mauru test kirk 4. barfight kirk 5. space suit kirk 6. cold weather gear kirk i read on toynewsi that dst will also be releasing star trek figures from the movie sometime this year. so they'll probably have a good kirk in there line. |
