I'm in for 10 figures. I hope they get made. I've been waiting all this time for them to be made. Those little power lords soldiers are some of my favorite action figures of all time, even though they have limited articulation, they make up for it with Glyos compatability parts swapping. This time around though, they've traded Glyos parts swapping for more poseability, more sculpted details, and more paint apps. My biggest complaint for the old figures was the lack of hip articulation. Now that problem will be addressed, but I cannot swap around parts anymore to make my own unique soldiers.

I just read that the extra heads shown with some of the alien characters may, or may not be included. What kind of way is that to run a business? You can't show an extra item or production piece and say "Maybe." If they can confirm the two heads, then I'll buy two of each.
But as stated here many times, they do not respond to us little folk.

Yeah, this project is a dumpster fire of apathy on their part, imho. They've had 2 *years* to prepare and all they can give us is one pic each figure, no articulation-ready prototype, no pics of accessories, and no confidence of the one 'extra' they do show will actually be included?
I don't think it's a question of 'if' any more; but 'when' this fails to fund I'm thinking it's 100% their fault for not putting a minimum of effort or forethought into it - for the second time. |

But as stated here many times, they do not respond to us little folk. Remember when mythic legion was going to be 3.75? Guess what? 4 Horsemen cancels that and immediately goes with 6 inch with no warning at all. As REAL people and not sponge cakes, we had allocated a budget on acquiring 4 horsemen stuff (you know, to test and sell). That money we allocated for a year was a wasted opportunity because 4 horsemen went full 360 noscope on their own decision and got us bad. What a waste of time. 4 Horsemen is also EXCRUTIATINGLY DIFFICULT to acquire product from. They NEVER release enough, it's always those irritating limited releases, or EXCLUSIVE EXCLUSIVE EXCLUSIVE. (Exclusive to Club members, Exclusive to First come first serve, Exclusive to 4 HOsemen store Only. MY GOD, think of the Green Benjamins man! Have Pity please!!) Testing GothiTroplis was the WORST PAIN ever, do you know how hard it is to get multiples of 50 of a figure when the distributor only has a limited quantity releases and is first come first serve? Never again, the burn in time and money was incredible. The exclusive gothitropolis ones were Excruciatingly painful, we gave up on ever acquiring those. |

They had teased the first MyLegs as 18th scale for like a year, then announced they'd be 12th scale two weeks before the campaign went live.

Either way, I have to wonder whether the 4'' Power Lords line will have any momentum, or if they'll ditch it for the existing 6'' line which already appears to be languishing.

The new Power Lords will also be 4" scale. I'm excited by the designs, but it feels like those days when Matty couldn't generate enough interest in Club Eternia and they started threatening to kill the line. Here, I have to wonder just how interested they are at this point.
Having said that, I love all the figures and I want this to succeed. I'm just not so sure the 4H does.

Yeah, I don't get any sense of enthusiasm from them about this. They've had 2 years to prepare for this reboot and they've shown an amazingly paltry amount of that preparation and effort so far, imho. I'm thinking there's a contractual obligation to try again and they're resentfully fulfilling that obligation. Last edited by Ozymandias13; 09-20-2017 at 08:48 AM.. |

Say what? There is no 6" PL line. There are a few leftover figures from the first attempt at an 18th PL line still showing up on their Store, but those don't look to be available any longer. There are a bunch of sculpting 2ups shown around; but there's no announcement of an intent to make a 6" PL line (although I think it's foolishly naive to not admit they're thinking about it very hard).
