The main problem I see is that they are jamming a ton of figures into this release. Like, repaints galore. And if it's all or nothing with these pre-orders, I don't see how that's tenable. It'd mean a lot to go all-in, and not everyone can do that with so much coming down the pipe in the way of designer 4-inch toys.
I want these. A lot. But I can't see how I can go all-in. I guess we'll see Friday. I dunno. |

For me it will depend on Articulation. The human troopers and main blue guy look like they could be cool. I have some of there older 4 inch space sets and they are cool, but the articulation just wasn't there for me to buy more.

The first go-around of their PLs were basically Star Wars figures with ball joints everywhere except with swivel waist and hips. I believe the announcement above says they now have ball motion at those points as well.

I was looking over the SDCC pictures at ToyArk. I really am only interested in the Power Soldiers. Hopefully, they offer army pack bundles.

I'd like to see them re-offer some of the Power Soldiers from previous releases. I have most, but not all of them.

I really like the figures I have of this line, and hope to get more, but the Horsemen are acting like they're just getting to it because they don't have anything better to do. We'll see. |

They DO have better things to do. They are a small studio with many other projects that are better at paying their bills than PL has proven in the past. They're doing their best to fulfill a promise that they probably wish they hadn't made.
And damn it, no army packs. Although, the All-In price isn't that much cheaper than buying individually, so the savings on a 6-pack probably would have been minimal. Even, so, I think I'll pass for the time being. |

Interesting that there's not a Lord Power figure this time around.
I don't like the Sydot mold overall so I can't see getting the All-In set, although I do think I'll get the Ranan Tactical Soldier variant. With all the others that's 13 figures total adding up to $286; which I should be able to swing no problem. |
