I wish I were more attractive, that I might sell my body on the streets in order to procure these stirring samples of novelty plastic.

Someday, preferably sooner rather than later, that environment piece must feature in the background of a Hellboy figure portrait!

I have to be honest, I was a very big Joe fan when I was little, but only felt the urge to join the boards recently to join the Acid Rain discussion.
Speeder, Pain to Victory, and Sol Commander have been available here in HK since last month. I picked up Speeder today, and as soon as I opened the box, it was clear that I made the right decision. Acid Rain hit all the right buttons for me: transforming robots and mechas that can be piloted by a little dude. I am, as most of you guess, primarily a Transformers fan. But as soon as I held Speeder in hand, I felt that I've wasted money on 99% of my collection--Speeder, bar none, is the BEST figure that I have, even compared to so-called "masterpieces" and even more expensive "third parties." Anyway, enough rant. I hope you guys pick this up if you have a chance. It's expensive, yes, but it's totally worth it. It definitely deserves a place in your Joe collection. By the way, in these pics the pilot is a cheapo True Heroes figure. I thought I could save a few bucks with these, but I thought wrong. I'm definitely going back to the store to buy the Pain to Victory set. |

Jesus, I wouldn't want to have to dig a fighting hole or dig one of those mechs out of the mud with those things.
