I have two, one loose, one MOC, but I caught the guy stocking them, so it was an easy find.

I've seen him at Jeffrey's toys (San Francisco retail), so he must be easy enough to find. I've also seen Maverick and all three versions of Wolverine. The only figure I've not seen is Comic Book Deadpool; every other version of the figures I've seen at "retail". I've seen a number of the Marvel Universe figures, as well. But, I'm not going to pay 20 bucks for a 3&3/4ths figure at retail. If I'm seeing 20 bucks at Jeffreys, then the retail has to be at least 10. That is absurd! I'll continue to build my X-Men collection from the "Legends"-scale line. I've stopped buying Star Wars figures and at the moment I'm just looking for an on-line retailer that will let me preorder the last 2 seven pack Joes. After I get those, I'm done with this absurd and needless series of price hikes. They simply aren't justified.

They are around 7.99 at retail, but I guess Target has them on sale for 5.99 for a limited time.

You friends are wrong or they like to lie to you, because they are 8.99 at Kmart, 8.44 at Walmart, and 7.99 at Target and TRU. They will be 5.99 at Target for a limited time also.
