I just picked up F-15/16/18, want to get them all together and do a thread on them. If the SKYSTRIKER could use this Joystick by some type of extension to the joystick base, it would be the bomb.
The bad news F-16 is missing its tail--can probably find replacement via a model F-18 is missing the canopy--have to check and see if I pick up another incomplete one if I can change the canopy. Hasbro really should bring these back. My replacement pilot "Luke" Lego fits perfect. |

Just picked up another F-14 Jolly Rogers aircraft. I thought it had been resealed, I opened it and to my surprise, its never been put together, the poster, the scratch off....all are mint. All for 15.00 and thats with shipping. the toy cost only 9.99. If the skystriker were made like this, I would have loved it even more.

Did anyone here have the AH-64 Apache Flying Fighter as a kid? I had the F-16 as a kid, which was the Black Widows Squadron. I dont remember seeing the Apache in stores..at least in my area of Central PA. There seems to be very little information on the internet about the Hasbro Flying Fighters Toy Line. I found a commercial on youtube for Hasbro Flying Fighters and it states in the commercial “to collect all 6 Squadrons” or something to the effect. I know for sure there are 7 different versions/squadrons as I have managed to track them all down over the last few years via ebay...but sealed boxes rarely show up as that is what I was going for. Anyone have any information on the Apache Version?

Also I didn't remember there was an A-10! I dug out my F-15 and F-14 yesterday, boxes aren't sealed but everything inside still is.

NSA...I dont think they ever made an A-10 Flying Fighter. The picture I have seen floating around the Web is a piece of Prototype Art Work. I was able to Aquire that piece of Flying Fighter History a few years ago. I thought it was cool and was able to track down it’s owner at the time. I would love to frame it someday.
Winter..I have rarely seen the 1st Cav markings Apache. That one seems to be very rare. I believe the Apache is the rarest of all the Hasbro Flying Fighters as specimens rarely surface. If they do come up, in my research they are normally the 1-101st version. I was also able to track down a 1st Cav Apache, but it is the only one I have seen. Has anyone else seen a 1st Cav Apache? Or for that matter either version..recently? |

Was able to dig out my 1st Cav Apache. Only sealed version of it I have come across in the past 10 years or so of researching the Hasbro Flying Fighters Toy Line. Does anyone have the 101st Version? Would love to see it. Also there is a version that has the Instant Win Game Piece Sticker on the box for some of the Jets. Not sure about the Apaches. Would love to see what everyone may have in their collections.

Thanks for sharing. Not sure if it has been noted already, but that Apache was reused as the Desert Apache for the Joe line.
