I picked up one of the non-dog xenomorph figures and overall it's really decent. Just two things keep the buck itself from being a total win:
1) ZERO elbow articulation 2) bottom of neck swivels, but otherwise no neck or head articulation Obviously #2 is much less irritating, but nevertheless...put proper swivel-hinge elbows and a ball/socket head into this figure and it would be a really fantastic item. As it is...it's certainly "OK." If they make a "dog" xenomorph in a matching color I might pick one up to swap the arms out (the "dog" ones actually have elbows - I didn't look carefully enough to see what the trade-off was, but there were definitely working elbows). The sculpt has a lot of detail in the surfaces. I have no complaints. The plastic seems to be of pretty good quality. I haven't broken anything and I don't think I will, though I will definitely boil/pop the lower leg if I want to take the feet off in the future. I took a chance pulling a bit harder than I wanted to and I stress-marked one ankle barbell in the process. Here is an articulation overview, from the top of the figure to the bottom:
13-PoA, by my count. The neck swivel gets somewhere around 70 degrees range of motion (about 35 degrees to either side of a straight-ahead gaze). The figure looks like it's shrugging, but maybe that's normal for xenomorphs. I haven't paid much attention to that up to now. Either way, I'd really have liked to see either a ball-socket head or a swivel-hinged head. The swivel-hinge shoulders work just as you would expect. Nothing bad about them. The non-articulated elbows are bent to 75 or 80 degrees, give or take, but they are also turned slightly outward so that when the elbows are brought in to meet the torso, the hands are still spread further apart than the width of the body. This skipped articulation is by far the largest shortcoming of the figure. The mid-torso joint should work just fine, but my figure has a weird lump of material inside the joint on one side that keeps the figure from being able to lean to the left effectively. If not for that, this joint would work wonderfully. I don't know if this is a bad QC figure or if the mold has this problem. If your figure won't bend to one side well, pop it apart and look inside the upper torso and see if there is a plastic blob in there for you to cut out. The torso has good range of motion other than the blob issue. The ball-socket wrist works pretty well. The wrist is modeled in somewhat of a "pulled-back" pose (like your wrists would be if you were doing pushups, just not to the full extreme). This makes the hands sort of default to a "tit-honking" pose, but the joint allows you to make the hands almost straight forward. You won't be able to put them into a bear-hug pose or anything, but still the range of motion is pretty decent. The ball-socket hips have some problems with range of motion. The "meat" around the socket prevents a leg from being swung straight forward or straight back. They tend to angle outward into mild splits when you move the hips forward or backward. In terms if intentionally splitting the legs to the sides, there is a hard cup in the legs' hip socket that actually prevents the legs from being moved apart to the sides more than about 10-15 degrees (estimated). At best, you get the ankles to about 1/4" more than shoulder width apart. You could probably cut a bit of this "cup" away at the top and get better side-to-side motion but other than sanding/carving away the thigh meat you're not going to be able to address the front-to-back range of motion. It's not totally paralyzing, but it's not as good as we're used to seeing elsewhere. The hinge knees (single-jointed) do just fine. At full extension the legs are still not truly straight, but for a creature like this that really isn't any kind of issue. As said above, you get the knee bend to about 90 degrees. Double knees would be a welcome upgrade any time, but that's just a luxury I can't demand in such a value-priced line. The ball-socket ankles work pretty well. Full rotation, of course, and some toe-up, toe-down, and rocking motion all is possible. The figure stands up well in action poses and in straight-up "attention" pose as well. If they fixed up the elbows and head articulation and made these in dark gray or black I'd buy a crate of them (even if they had to bump the price up another $2 for the added articulation). As they are now, and in bright primary colors, I am one and done but still reasonably pleased.

Saw it in person but didn't buy it. It's really pretty small.
