Well awhile back I posted a thread about stuff you're missing. I was missing my ED 209.
I had this thing brand new from TRU when I was a kid and it's primary mission was to look cool on a shelf and also beat the crap out of Secret Wars Iron Man. I lost it...the damn thing for the last 20 someodd years has been a constant. I've never packed it away, misplaced it...it has actually been displayed or close by the whole time. Then it dissapeared. For about 6 months I was convinced that for whatever reason, I took it down stairs, had it on the shelf, it fell in the recycling bin and bam...it was gone. After RIPPING this place apart 3 times it was the only story I could come up with that made sense. Now today, thanks to Hurricane Irene here I am trapped inside with nothing to do but rummage through some old rubbermaid bins and repair and mess with some old toys.....I saw him and my f'n heart stopped......I actually called my uncle who knew about the story, and who actually bought it for me when he was a teenager and remembered it well. ED-209....I got you back, I also got some yankee candles and that champange you like. |

Haha nice!!! I had Ed also but was another one of my awesome toys that was tossed without me knowing. God I miss that thing. All the Robocop toys for that matter. I believe Mcfarlane was suppose to put out an Ed-209 but never did. That would've been mine in a second! Maybe Neca will tho!
Also, this one is amazing!!!! Robocop ED-209 Poseable Model Kit - Sideshow Collectibles |

That's awesome! I love the ED-209 toy. I don't even know when or where I got mine, but I've had it for a few years now.

Also, this one is amazing!!!! Robocop ED-209 Poseable Model Kit - Sideshow Collectibles I thought I saw another one on bbts or something. I'm just happy I got mine back man. It still has all the decals in good shape and the cap gun thing in it's back still works...and was never used. I thought Edward was a goner! That might be my favorite, if not top 5 in my collection of my all time favorite toys I own. |

I saw a Ed knock off at Walmart 2 years ago. It was part of its house brand Kid Connection or something. The thing was an alarm clock and had a small lcd. It was painted grey and about 10 inches tall.

Yeah, but this version was from the tv show I think. It must have been either a copyright issue, or that this was meant to be a newer model, hence the higher number... I always called my ed-209 anyway. |
