GI Joe 25th much better than the Marvel figs

I am finding that the 25th Ann. Joes are a good deal better than the Marvel Universe and Wolverine figs. The Joes seem to be of higher quality. I particularly hate the Wolverine: Origins hip articulation. It's more difficult to pose the figures, and all of my Wolverine:Origins figures have very loose hip joints.

The Universe figures are a bit better, but they made some big mistakes. The open "slap" hands are a dumb choice, particularly on Iron Fist. Also, Captain America has a hard time hanging on to his shield.

I like these figures mainly because they are Marvel in the same scale as Joes. It's too bad they aren't as nice as the Joes were getting. I would love for the Marvel figs to be made with the same quality as the Resolute figures.

Ya know, some of the Marvel figs do look a little bit rushed. My Cap is holding his shield just fine though.

Not really. The quality's pretty much exactly the same. In fact, I'd say the Wolverine: Origins figures are even better than the Joes. Very sturdy, extremely tight joints. Also don't see a problem with the hands. Most of these figures don't come with things to hold, and those that do are equipped for it.

It will; take a few waves to work out the kinks. Hasbro has actually been really good about feedback and fixing their mistakes. You can easily see the improvement in the 25th figures over the waves.

The detail on the Marvel figures sucks. Anything with a mask is ok to good. Punisher has to be the worst looking major release toy I've seen in a long time. It's worse than the Target "deer in headlights" Skywalker. Sabretooth looks bad, some of the Wolverine figs look bad too. The detail in the face is ridiculously bad.

The only figure i liked was deadpool. I dont know why they didn't go with the joe hip articualtion. The hip ball joint kinda sucks IMO. The biggest turnoff has been the faces and necks. Spidey has a pin head, Punisher looks like a freaking mutant with that big noggin, and a lot of the figures have giraffe necks. Capt. America looked good though but im still not sold on these.

As said in another thread,my only dislike from the Wolverine line is Movie Sabertooths molded (as part of the lower arms) hands.Tho that`s easily fixed. As for the hip articulation, well certainly a different approach from Hasbro using GI JOE shoulder balls as thighs. Tho a lot more solid than the MLS/Microman hip balls that pop off all the time. It just takes a little getting use to tho they pose very well & sturdy. I am looking forward to getting more & the MU ones too.

I've passed on them for that reason. They look fragile and are too expensive.

Kmart finally got some. But no Silver Surfer or Deadpool. Not to mention they are 9 bucks each. I'll wait until the wolverines go on clearance.

Until thenm I'm holding out for Hydra troops and Craven.
