What about the Maisto HumVee? I know its 1/18 scale
Cars - MAISTO - 36874SA - HUMVEE in Sand (Tan) - Premiere Edition: <p> I wouldve thought by now toy companies would have moved away from the HUMVEE and gone for updated verison of light rolling armor transport thats in the field today

So you know that big gun on the PTE Hummer that a lot of people were complaining about because it was oversized and unrealistic, even the bullet-belt was far too big and most people just added a custom gun.
Well it turns out that its actually a pretty decent copy of the MK19 grenade launcher, which is often mounted on Humvees..... Mk 19 grenade launcher - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Quote:

PTE, who's been doing them for at least a decade, is gonna keep right on doing them. |

The BBI Elite Force was probably the closest to real life. All the weapons were accuate and the ability to convert it to different rolls is awesome. Wish I had 2 more...
The DTC Night ops was a close second... Both have their positives with little to no negatives.

21st Century Toys - Ultimate Soldier has the best Humvees out there in 1/18th Scale. They even have two versions of it (M1025 & M998):
[u]M1025 M998 Humvee Cargo / Troop Carrier - Hard Top Top M998 Humvee Cargo / Troop Carrier - Soft Top

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the backseats on the 21st were no-goes for figures?

They are very cramped for the back seats. For best results for display, you would have to unscrew their legs and then put them in. As for play as you know, these are not for play but moreso for display as they are brittle.
