So I can talk about Transformers now? Yes!
Okay.. so far I have RID Deluxe Soundwave and Wheeljack and RID Voyager Prime. My BBTS POL has Takara FE Cliffjumper, RID Voyager Megatron, and FE Deluxe Bumblebee and Starscream. I'm trying to decide what version of Arcee and Bulkhead will be the best scale wise for my collection. Sure I would love FE versions of both, especially since the FE Arcee is a great mold, but she's out of scale anyway. Also, Beast Wars is exceptional. Yeah, I love it, I have it on DVD. I still care about G1 though, I love classic Prime.. he's my favorite Transformer easily. I had an energy drink not too long ago.. you guys probably can't tell though.. Fuck Wave 18.. where's the wave with Angel? Best X-Man ever.

the MU thread is always open
I'm going to try Cyberverse Arcee for scale compatibility. Deluxe is jusy way too big- she's barely bigger than Jack in the show. I'm going to try and hold out for Leader (weaponizer now or something?) Prime and Megatron. I have Starscream as deluxe and that works OK for me since him and BB are close to the same size on screen (I only care about bot to bot size- their vehicles modes will most likely never be seen on my shelves) If Cyberverse ends up being too small for arcee I plan on building my own out of... well... something... anyways... |

There's still no word on a Weaponizer Megatron, but I hope they do a wave 2. First wave is Optimus and Bumblebee (who has fake wheels + his regular four car wheels). I'm still not sure about Bulkhead. I really don't love the character enough to spend $60 on the FE version, either on ebay or from Takara. So I really hope the RID version is too out of scale. I also hope the FE voyagers make it to discount stores or are re-released later.

So, thinking of you all, I made the mistake of asking about the new Marvel Legends when approached by a Toys R Us manager and asked if I was finding everything ok. The manager freaked out and said they had product but there was a street date of late February. When I looked surprised, he went to the back and checked and came out to tell me he had meant the new Avengers toys.
Good to know they're ready and waiting to be sold at the end of the month. Sucks to know I won't be buying more than a couple of them.

Ahh! I'll try to not get my hopes up too high, but I'd consider a few if they were 30th Joe/MU level quality.

Anything would be better than the crap figures from the last Trek movie. Here's a question: Can Hasbro make a Star Trek line of figures and not offer any vehicles or playsets as they'd prefer? Can you have Star Trek without them?
