I know I'm a minority with this one but I'd buy it. I've been an Affleck fan since Dazed & Confused. He has had some flops but all the Kevin Smith movies have redeemed him in my eyes. I always thought his personality off screen was cool (and a lot like mine according to my wife). I forgave him over that whole J-Lo thing.
Okay, now that I'm out of the closet on this one...please do not ban me.

Wow, Spidey is random, but if its 1/18 I'll be very interested. I'd also be interested in them opening up the Marvel Movie library to Hasbro. I wouldn't say I'd kill for figures based on the X-Men movies. I wouldn't say it. Especially if it ended up giving us figures that fans have always clamored for *ahem* Deathstrike *ahem*. I also wouldn't mind 1/18 versions of Dafoe's Goblin, Molina's Doc Ock, Stevenson's Punisher, any Blade figures *fingers crossed for Hannibal King*, hell I'd even buy Afleck's Daredevil or Garner's Elektra. If it means more 1/18 Marvel goodness, then I'm in.
And I'm probably not the only one thinking this, but based on the face sculpt I'm thinking that the Ages of Thunder Thor is going to be a fantastic base for Conan. |

that movie spidey is nothing to get excited over. It's just like xmo/im2 figs cause of the legs. I only like Marvel universe and Joe style legs. The nick fury coming out is a step in the right direction granted that its basically a repaint of a joe figure..

I didn't really care for the movie version of Daredevil, they lost me in the opening scene where he lets some guy die. Matt Murdock would never, ever let such a thing happen, it's the opposite of who he is. Why else was he such a perfect foil for the Punisher for so many years.

@Derek
I know I keep telling you this but I love that X-Men display. So neat and clean. |

I can't think of at least one instance where Matt killed someone to protect others (Born Again: he killed the helicopter pilot and seemed to try to kill Nuke). I think the movie was trying to convey something Stan Lee once said, that Daredevil could have been a bad guy but circumstances led him down a different path.

There are new pics up on Marvelousnews of the SDCC exclusives. I'm liking the MU exclusives and may even pick up the Spidey movie costume figure that appeared out of nowhere. It appears to have IM2/MU articulation - which is an improvement over the Spidey line that is out there now.
I guess I should be happy though; if it were a character I liked I would be really sad that he was an exclusive. LOL.
