LTR is not bad. I've nothing to say against it (though the extra long ending after ending after ending in ROTK did make my butt fall asleep) but I've watched it maybe 10 or 15 times total- it has NOTHING on StarWars that I've invested more time of my life to than i can actually keep track of. THAT is what makes Star Wars not a trilogy, not a hexalogy but a life impacting event!

Did you try returning it without a receipt? That is the only reason you can get shot down. I suppose if you had a receipt they must accept the return.

Well, it was the days before cable..hell we even still had mostly B & W televisions. No air conditioning, no computers, pong was switching to Atari at some point in there. Kids were forced to play, run, ride bikes, etc. There was really nothing to compare Star Wars to....The only thing that nudged out my love of Star Wars was GI Joe, and that was only where the toys were concerned....
And then there was Flash Gordon...Flashhhh..Ahhahahhhhh. Just checking in before bed,,Night MU! He'll save everyone of us. 221

I love you old guys. While I no longer care for the space opera. The toys are cool. As children of both the 70's and the 80's, can we at least admit the 80's had the best cartoons EVAH!?
I don't remember like a bunch of the 70's cartoons or shows growing up. I didn't even like the brady bunch...until I was 9 and had a thing for Marsha. (That was also when I was going through my candence cameron phase though too.). I just didn't think ARAH had that much of an impact on people 10 years older than me. I figured just about everybody actively in the thread was the same age as Dolf, Wii, and myself. Hell, I've met mike and didn't think he was turning 4,000,000 soon. I really thought he was a dude in his early 30's. So now i'm tired and rambling, but going to hit 2000 posts here soon. but I usually have a wall of text for everybody anyway. Here are what I think was the best out of 100 years of America!!! 1910's: women still couldn't vote, Teddy roosevelt is a pimp. 1920's: The automobile baby, best decade to be an inventor 1930's: best decade to be a bootlegger, ask the kennedy family. 1940's: Well they sucked, it was usually best to either not be freezing in europe, or just having a meal to eat. birth decade of the comic book. 1950's: Probably the best era to be an American Male. It is Steve Rodgers' America, and the one I think should still exist. (minus all the Frank Wertham comics attack BS.) 1970's: Best decade to get laid, music sucked though. 1980's: Best cartoons and toy concepts ever! 1990's: Best Music in forever. (other than image, comics sucked. 5 cover variants for every over produced book. 2000's: Best recession ever! Seriously, it could be the guilded age around here. How did we afford to start stockpiling our little plastic men?? Really though the 200's probably brought us the best TV series America has ever seen. (not counting reality TV). 2010's: This will be the best decade to be glad you didn't own a home yet in. Be sure to watch Red Dawn and Mad Max...as your new life training videos. the yellow bird flies at midnight. fck i'm tired. night all.
