I keep hearing the Daredevil buck was retired, but I've never seen any proof of this. Where/When was it said.
Also would anyone else like to see more X-Men in the Blue/Yellow costumes? I think the uniformity of them looked great! |

Now, that being said I don't mind when X-ers throw in more nods towards a uniform appearance in varied costumes (Using Blue/yellow/red color schemes or at least slapping an "X" on there somewhere)...I just don't like them all wearing variations on the exact same design. |

Ehn, the uniform look was fun for one storyline, but I think it robbed a lot of the X-Men of the visual originality that made them interesting to begin with. That being said, I wouldn't argue with a boxed set or multipack of some more "uniformed" X-ers (particularly an "Original 5" set...just not really my personal cup of tea. I think the only person that should be relatively stuck in one of those uniforms is Forge.

And stop the hatin on Dazzler, she rocks |

Longshot, on the other hand, I've never really cared about either way. He was one of the rare "Non-Mutants on the X-Men" with a somewhat confusing backstory that's only gotten worse since then. |

I stared reading Xmen in the mid 80s so i was deep into all of those characters. I remember the crossover stories fondly like Fall of the Mutants and Inferno. I always thought Dazzler was hot too. Rouge and Dazzler, mmmmm. I would lov to see a dope Rouge figure come out. I would be cool to be able to form all of those eras of Xmen teams. Jubilee would be a fun figure too speaking of the ladies. Her minimates figure for SDCC is really cool and got me thinking.

Dazzler actually has a pretty vocal fanbase, largely because of the solo-series she had in the early 80's. It's kind of funny how overlooked she is because she spent a good amount of time as an X-Man through one of their more fondly-remembered periods, and in her own way is actually kind of important to the overall X-Men lore of the 80's (in the sense that her "outing" of herself as a mutant caused anti-mutant feelings in the Marvel Universe to go from "a little worried" to "full blown hysteria"). Plus, she's often underestimated...she's actually really dang powerful.
And he had a mullet. |
