I think Ms. Marvel pegwarmed more because she's not a particularly popular character, like Namor, Guardian, etc. Jean Grey flew off the shelves, but that whole wave was like a phantom... Black Widow is certainly getting gobbled up, at least around here, and the rest of the women we've got have been stuck in 2-packs.
I don't think enough single card femmes have been released to really judge whether they can sell well or not, but I guarantee you they won't sell any worse than a god damn Iron Man variation.

Do any of you see kids buying these? I have never seen it... I have always been under the assumption that this was a Collectors line... I mean not being stupid or anything... but, I have NEVER seen anyone under 20 grabbing these at retail..
this just my area of course but, I'm curious to see how many of you have seen the little ones looking at these in your area |

Well my 4 year old is into Marvel and DC characters becuase of me but I can't imagine any kids asking for anything other than the occasional Spidey and Iron man both of whom have their own line.

I didn't know some of the figs had jumped so high in price so fast. Glad I have an extra torch and ms marvel. I noticed bullseye was high as well. I think some of the early waves will turn up at discount stores eventually, I guess there were a lot of late comers to this game trying to play catch-up now.

this just my area of course but, I'm curious to see how many of you have seen the little ones looking at these in your area Hasbro does acknowledge this is a more collector oriented line than others, which is why the articulation is increased and gimmicks lessened as compared to their admittedly more child-oriented Spider-Man line. That it is more collector oriented though does not change the fact that children remain the primary target. |
