Interesting to see Hasbro incorperating X-men origins:Wolverine figures/molds into the MU line...kinda makes it pointless making 2 versions of Collossus and multiple versions of Cyclops etc etc if the lines are to be merged anyway

Just want to go on record as saying I hate that they are mixing the lines. They should be separate. I think the MU hips are superior to the movie lines. Hasbro why redesign new hips like AIM, Jug and Colossus if you’re only going to use the inflexible ball hips from the movie lines on others? The AIM hip design would have been great on a new Wolverine. I love the line despite all of its flaws. But, I fear the inability to get figures at retail coupled with poor and cheap choices like reusing movie bodies may kill this line.

Personal opinion: both hips have merits and flaws, MU can pop out too easy (big problem I have with figs like Hobgoblin, Iceman from the amazing friends set, Comic thor, ect, probably an even dozen figs now) the WO/IM hips are sturdier but harder to get into basic positions like forward and most times they actually alter the look of the fig (Great example is War Machine). a Happy meduim is in order.

(like so) I just find it completely pointless that they have different versions of the same character in the exact same outfit in different lines :/

I don't mind the ball joints at all. I actually think the XMO Wolverine was by far the best one done so far.

If you mean the comic version, I agree. I have the brown one. He's pretty Jim Leeish.

I think you guys are really going to like the new AIM type of hip design. IMO much better than the movie and old MU hips. I’m an old Joe guy and I have always dreamed of MU and SW figures with Joe hips. So for me Joe hips are the best and really should be redesigned to fit in every Hasbro line MU, Movie & SW. But, in lieu of that the new AIM hips are the best Movie or MU I've seen. And again I think they would have been perfect for the new Wolverine design.
