secret santa for what?
I know we did one last year in the Marvelous group. HissTank.com - G.I. Joe - Marvelous MUtants 1/18 Scale Superheroes This was my original post...let me know if you would like to partcipate: Quote:
With it now being November 1st, let me be the first to say Happy Holidays to all, since every damn store is decked out in Xmas gear already.
I wanted to float an idea out to everyone and see your thoughts. I was thinking that since we are a tight knit group or a BoEM as discovered over the weekend (still waiting on those sigs Wii ), I thought it would be fun to...ahem...Secret Santa (don't punch me). The rules are simple..starting today until November 4th at 5pm, I will be taking applicants into the exchange. I have delveloped an algorithm that we allow for total randomness of your gifting person. If someone wants to be my comptroller, feel free. Then on Monday the 7th, I will PM everyone with their person's name and address, this will give everyone time to shop and ship. After Thanksgiving, we can begin shipping to the other person. I think max dollar amount should be $20 shipped, and it doesn't have to be an MU figure or any figure at all. We know one another pretty well, so you can figure what your person would really like. How do you enter you ask? Simply respond on the thread, then I will send you a PM asking you for your address. Also, if you signup, please follow through. That is it for the rules. If you hate the idea, I completely understand, but I thought it would be fun to give an extra little something to someone that we all associate with so much. Idea bashing begins...now...

How do the smaller DC figs compare to MU, size-wise?

The later waves of DCIH figures were a little better but they all tend to run small. They clock in at about a true 3 3/4 figure while the MU is just about 4in Some people think they fit in just fine-I think they come across as too small. But I'm un-forgiving when it comes to a figure even 'looking' undersized
Deathstroke should come in as a 6ft character at least and he matches the female MU figures pretty evenly. That's a deal-breaker for me, but others have no problem with it at all |

Cool. I've been considering adding Power Girl and Supergirl to my MU/Joe collection somehow.
Thanks! |
