I heard they were in California. I found none in the South Bay.

I am surprised at the price of the figures at BBTS.They are 6.99 each at TRU and about 7.50 at Walmart and Target but when the prices dropped at those stores they actually went up at BBTS.I would be willing to buy the case of 12 but it still ends up costing about $11 per figure after shipping, that is no bargin. Just cancelled my preorder for these and the case of POC figures from them I may as well be buying from the scalpers on ebay.

Thanks. I haven't seen any in the inland empire of SoCal.

If you look at the next 2 waves, a set of 6 wave 9's is $60, more reasonable, but then wave 10 is only 5 figures and still $60. I can't imagine their wholesale pricing on these is so bad that they can't sell them for $7.99 or $8.99 a pop and make an nice profit without ripping people off.

As fond as I am of BBTS, their prices on MU are horrible. $70 for a set of 6 figures that retail for $48? C'mon...

The wave 9 offering is "more reasonable" because more of the case is new figures, and those figures left after removing a set are more apt to sell than the leftovers of wave 10 (which is largely composed of reships of already readily heavily shipped figures). These guys may be getting a small discount by buying wholesale, but don't fool yourselves, they aren't ordering anywhere near enough to get the kind of discounts Walmart can get on toys.

So it would be about $100 shipped .Then I could trade the extras and I payed about $9 per figure. That would almost be worth it but they are asking $99 before shipping and that is just to much .I know I will find these at retail eventually and I have $200 in WM gift cards with POC and MU written all over them. |
