So long as Mattel has those rights, I don't think we'll get anything very good for a DC 1:18 line. They just don't seem to care to put the effort in.

I can see why Mattel might not want to field two DC based "collector" lines simultaneously, but then are GI Joe, MU, and Star Wars primarily "collector" lines or toys for kids? I never thought of Avatar or DCIH lines as "collector" lines and they had plenty of articulation. When it comes to the 4" scale, for whatever reason MAttel seems to have their collective heads firmly situated up their asses .

That always made me mad about that line. In all their QnA responses they said it was aimed at kids and not collectors. And yet the package actually says "Adult Collector" right on it.
