I want a Captain America figure too, but I think I'll wait for the Secret Wars comic packs as that sculpt is more comic book based. The current Marvel Universe Captain America looks like the ultimate version.

I found a deadpool at my local TRU for a more reasonable $7.99. I also saw the rest of the Marvel line that I passed on. The articulation is actually quite a big disappointment after having the G.I. Joe and Star Wars lines for so long. I'd really like to collect the Marvel line but they'll have to step it up before I start dropping $8 a figure. The Wolverine line was much, much closer to the quality articulation of G.I. Joe and Star Wars.
many SW troopers can't even bend legs backwards. some new clone wars figures don't even have knee joints. until recently they costed more. wtf's with that i can't believe wave 2 and 3 have not shown up around here yet when these have been on the shelves here for more than a month. still no wolvy origins figs either. bullshit i say

sw figs drive me nuts too. especially the figures that don't have elbow joints and instead have some sort of wierd V cut.
they also drive me crazy when they rerelease figures from older lines with lesser articulation in the current comic packs. but they do get every character under the sun in their line, whether they had 3 hours of screen time or 3 seconds...that's gotta count for something. |

your're crazy! these figures are way better than star wars figures in the articulation department.

Sorry hasbro I can't join your company destroying the marvel legends line and buy your new smaller line. If these figures go down to $4.99 maybe.

I got every figure except Bullseye and I like'em all. All my figures have tight joints. Finally nice to have some Superhero figures to go along with my Joe's & Star Wars figures, as I was never into the the bigger Marvel Legends figures.

I saw some of these at Wal-Mart today and called and expressed my condolences to a friend who collects Marvel Legends.
For $11 you'd get a 6" action figure and a build-a-figure part. For $10 now you get a 3 3/4" action figure that requires maybe 1/4 of the plastic the 6" ones did and no build-a-figure part. I wonder if Hasbro is trying to recoup their losses from Indiana Jones by sticking it to the Marvel collectors. |
