I figured XF AA would eventually be made available by getting a subscription to Marvel digi-comics. I know of a few that posted it probably wouldn't be and then sold theirs for a pretty penny. I even asked where Marvel had made any statement about the fig not being available for those that subscribe and no legitimate source was given... I should have went with my gut instead of falling for that crap and buying the fig for an outrageous price.
You live, you learn... In any case, it's awesome that those who have yet to acquire XF AA get a chance to get him at a price much more reasonable. I think I may get another now, just to have 1 MOC and the other out on display. honestly, a very small part of me wanted them not to make anymore. The collector in me who enjoys collecting with others did though. I think if they were willing to make more of these Hasbro owes us some f'@#$ng SGT Slaughters!!! Quote:
Hmm.. as mush as a Nick Fury would be awesome.. the one hasbro put out.. wasn't it. The side of his face was concaved. Which happened to be the same side the eye patch was one. Just need to find another shield agent body and see if I can find a suitable replacement on either SDS or Broken Arrow.

hey dude. You feed me, board me for a night, and get me to and from my school interview and airport in march. Hell you just drive me around and get me to and from the airport and interview. I'll bring you one with me. Quote:
hey shit head! =P Im on the fence I like reading them on the CP, but dont like messing them up. I feel paranoid about keeping the single issues all minty and not dog eared. I usually just get the TPBs now and wait for the compilations to come out. For one they're worthless and in book form, much easier for me personally.
I take my last physics class next quarter... I must pass to get into school. Help in english with math/physics please!! Dude I didn't know things were rough. PM me your addy. It sucks when your kids are sick. Believe me, I know. okay back to studying for a test.

Nope. It's only for new subscriptions. I renewed back in November and it won't let me order AA. I'm not much of an X-Force fan, so this version of AA isn't terribly interesting, but it still sucks that long time customers aren't included in the offer.

Invaders? I thought that was group led by Cap,the original Human Torch( the android not Johnny Storm),Namor plus the sidekicks Bucky and Toro.

BEWARE!!! KNOWLEDGE BOMB Being DROPPED!!!

Aarkus: a.k.a D'Spayre an alien who joined the team after learning the Nazis' plans for earth. Blazing Skull: He looked kinda like a Ghost rider but was actually just some reporter dude that met a group called the Skull Men. They selected him and trained him. He was immune to fire, had superhuman strength, could make his flesh invisible, had a healing factor, and could project flames. The Destroyer: The Britt, Brian Falsworth, he later became Union Jack 2 Bucky Barnes: Current Captain America....just Bucky back then. Captain America: Super Soldier Steve Rogers Fred Davis: Bucky 2 Human Torch: Cyborg Jim Hammond the original created by Prof. Phineas Hortori. Dania: Daughter of Red Raven and member of the bird race of Inhumans. (This is why Hickman is a genius for bringing back the other Inhuman races in the Fantastic Four comics...the dude knows his stuff!) Joey Chapman: Union Jack 3, he started out as a vampire hunter Mighty Destroyer: Actually different people most notable was Roger Aubrey. Miss America: Marvels less Amazonian, Wonder Woman Union Jack: Lord Montgomery Falsworth, the original UJ Namor: king of atlantis Whizzer: Super-speedster Robert Frank married Miss America. Dude got his powers from a mongoose. lol Silver Scorpion: Elizabeth Barstow. She fell into crimefighting on accident, got a thrill out of it and just wore flashy armor and knew som Jui-jitsu. She is one of the earliest known female superheroes though. Spitfire: Female super-speedster which left non-damaging fire behind her when she moved. Tara: She is a cyborg or alien...i don't remember. Basically just a lady human torch The Fin: Naval officer Peter Noble went down in a sub, but did not drown. He became ruler of the underwater civilization the Neptuniuns. He has a magical cutlas which can cut through anything (watch out wolverine..I hope someone finds it some day) and is married to Nia Noble. Nia Noble: An ally of the New Invaders, married to Fin and Daughter of the villians U-man and Lady Lotus. Thin Man: An explorer who found the lost civilization of Kalahia in the Himolayas and learned how to stretch...he was very similar to plastic man or reed richard, though not as funny, indestructable, or smart. Golden Woman: Japanese born Gwen Sabuki worked with the Invaders, though mostly with the sidekicks and was the Founder of the team the Kid Commandos. Toro: The human torch's sidekick U.S. Agent: John Walker He bacame US Agent, was Captain America for a time. Trained by Taskmaster and was part of the NEW INVADERS, not the OG team. The original team however was: Captain America, Bucky Barnes, Namor, Human torch, Toro, Union Jack, Spitfire, Miss America, and the Whizzer. But no they were never called that. The Howling Commandos is from an old series called Sgt Fury which later became SGT Fury and his Howling Commandos. The Howling Commandos I think came out in 1963 durring the beginings of Marvel and were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. They were a specially trained group of Army Rangers led by Nick Fury under the command of CPT . They started in world war 2 and have had many members...I'll just make a quick list because there have been a lot. Howling Commandos: Brother Voodoo Clay Quartermain Cognoscenti Dimensional Man Dino Manelli Dum Dum Dugan Eric Koenig Gabriel Jones Gorilla-Man Hans Rooten Happy Sam Sawyer Izzy Cohen Junior Juniper Nick Fury Olivia Hooks Percy Pinkerton Rebel Ralston Sasquatch And WOLVERINE! But there was a team of marvel monster type people who have been Howling Commandos as well..This team will blow your mind: Dracula Frankenstein Glob Goom It the Living Colossus Kraa Lilith Living Mummy Manphibian The Golem Vampire By Night Warwolf A Werewolf by Night Gorgolla The Abominable Snowman Grogg Fangu Groot …YES GROOT’S origins involve the howling commandos. Hellstorm, the Son of Satan The original commandos were: CPT Samuel Sawyer aka Happy Sam SGT Nick Fury…der CPL Timothy Dugan aka DUM DUM British intel LT Percy Pinkerton aka Pinky PVT Robert Ralston, aka Rebel PVT Dino Manelli PVT Fred Jones: He became disable and Gabriel Jones his brother took his place. PVT Isadora Cohen aka IZZY And defecting German Wehrmacht Eric Koenig A lot of confusion comes from the fact there is a lot of retroactive continuity involved with these stories. Most of them essentially being told long after WW2…heck even after Desert Storm. Captain America interacted with them often in the flash back stories. Wolverine was a Canadian addition to the team which can be seen in more depth in the Wolverine Origins series. I was reluctant to add Deadpool…he may end up on the roster at some point. You know how time travel goes, we know he interacted with Cap and Bucky back in the day. and now you Know!

Quick and dirty IM Hall of Armor (representing IM through the eras):
Checked a couple of Targets, no variants for me, just remnants of the revisions cases. Did manage to get some of the Hall of Armor sets on clearance for $5 each. |

I hear ya on the space. Had to throw out some books, to make room on the shelf for the pedestals after I was done playing ... I meant displaying. [Books are for nerds any way]. At $5 the price was not too bad, though, I could have waited to see if it would go down more since the store had tons of the stuff, and, at the end of the day, they are really just light discs. However, I needed something to show for all the gas spent hunting for the variants ... or else, it would have been straight to the strip club for some "gratification" and that would have been money down the drain (well it goes into a hole in any event) |

Has the IM2 Comic Wave 4 with Mandarin and Whiplash been released anywhere in the U.S. yet? I've been waiting on these since August and they never showed up on the East Coast in TRU. Target or Walmart. if anybody has seen them at these places just let me know...
