Hey if any of you see anything for an "Anti Virus 8" ( acro is AV8 on your CPU) DO NOT<I repeat DO NOT let it install itself. I left my computer on last night when I went to bed and totally got trojaned by this bastard of a program. It acts and looks like virus detecting software, but once its got its hooks in your system it will put annoying bogus virus threat alerts that you cant click around, limit/ cut off your access to IE and not allow you to delete the program. And if you install anti spy-ware/ anti malware while AV8 is running it will mess up the installation and prevent them from removing it. I was able to get rid of it through a safe mode reboot. Just giving you guys a heads up. It can pop up on its own and is often spread through e-mails. Nortons did not detect it btw.

stop using Internet Explorer!
there's a reason that browser gets hit with more viruses than any other. Chrome or Firefox are the way to go. download AVAST! antivirus. its free. |

Firefox is my browser of choice. It has been pretty safe so far.
