RC been around lately? I wanted to give him a heads up that his free gifts are on the way. UPS tried charging me $30 some dollars shipping a couple items to Alaska...WTF!!! So I went with USPS priority flat rate for $10.95. Why does UPS charge so much to ship to Alaska? Is it because of Tom Hanks!

I'll be limiting my movie toy purchases this year. Most likely I'll just get the comic series figures.

Me too or as best I can. I end up with a lot for customs so its hard to say that but as far as my collection goes. Im looking at downsizing at this point. Not sellig MU that shelves not full so they're fine but im getting rid of my Animated Transformers and some other big stuff. Lots of decisions to make I guess.

since tha movie lines have been out, i think i only have 1 movie series figure, and that was from iron man 2. war machine, cuz tha movie version is better than tha comic version imo. everything else movie-wise, has been all comic versions.

As for the XFAA, I think its died down do to the fact that all the impatient people jumped the gun and dropped serious dough on it and some of the more experienced collectors or more optimistic collectors feel that Marvel will eventually have it for Digital subscription.
At least I believe that is what will happen. I almost jumped the gun last year on Fury and would of dropped $150 on site for him. I waited more then a year later and grabbed him at a local convention from the marvel booth. To anyone who grabbed a bunch from the NYCC and got some sweet deals from it or made a bit of cash, good for them, I would of done the same. But for the few weirdos who got their hands on them and either want to trade every rare toy plus some shitty ones for it or wanna get it appraised and sell it for a mortgage payment should put a rubber band on their head and snap out of it. Same with GPDD, that was around $300 when the line started to pick up and then when the movie line bombed and 25th stopped, I saw it at a con for $80?! Unless its something like a Rowdy piper, which has a known production #(1000 I believe?) chances are there is more to come or the price will drop hard. Or if worst comes to worst, I get weaponX to do me a custom with some bad ass blood....

Yet, they have all the IM2 Mandarin figures. I don't know of that says more about the random cruelness of life, or that Wave 4 is such a "Grail" item that Hasbro actually wants its customers to quest for them in the frozen tundra. |
