So... I found and purchased the modern Ms. Marvel this morning. So I guess aside from the new Ironfist, I'm caught up.
I did see two of the original Ironfist figures though. |

I wish Warbird had a mid arm swivel. Her articulation really suffers because of the lack of it.

Which is a good point. for $8 I can get a ROC figure with a bunch of accessories or for $9 I can get a figure with one accessory. The MU figures dont' seem like such a great value in comparison. True, the MU figures are getting stands which is nice but still I think I'll probably stick with the Joes. Might cherry pick a few folks but that's probably it for MU or maybe not even bother with it at all anymore.

I just got finished watching the one with Mr. Sinster and would love a Mutiple Man in the MU line(not Wolverine and the x men).I would have to army build about 10 of him. Also got the Cap. America/Klaw CP today.I like the other Cap. more, just couldn't find one. This Cap. works for a good spot holder.Have no idea who Klaw is...So my son got a new toy.

I buy MU for the characters more than anything else. I don't mind that they lack accessories. Should the price point be lower? Of course. But I'd rather pay for a classic character like Wolverine or Iceman in the 3 3/4 inch scale (the absolute best toy scale for action figures IMO) than a version of Ripcord or Storm Shadow that I no longer really recognize or have any emotional attachment to that version of the movie character. It wouldn't matter if a ROC figure came with a whole suitcase full of accessories. Still don't like'em. (I never liked the movie comic toys either. I guess I'm not a huge fan of movie adaptations when it comes to toys.) I'm a huge comic book fan so I just get a kick out of seeing all my MU figures on my shelf.
I'm not usually big on movie representations of people either in toy form, but the ROC line has put some cool stuff out. You have to pick and choose the good ones. seems to me that is the case with most lines here lately.

I understand the licensed property vs house property deal which is the price difference. But what are you comparing the DCUC toys to? surely not the MU line since it's two different scales. And the funny part is, if in fact that is the comparison you are making, I feel like I am getting a heck of a lot more for only a few dollars difference since I am not only getting the figure and maybe an accessory, but also a BAF piece. after I collect six figures from the set I can essentially have a 7th figure I've built whereas with the six MU figures I get the figures and six mini envelopes with character cards. Hmmm. Something to think about.

He's a crappy character but he's so weird I need him..lol |
