Hey do any of you guys know what to do in this scenario? I've got a feeling that the Post Office delivered my latest Hasbro Toy Shop package to another house.
According to the tracking info from the USPS website the package was delivered as of 1:00 PM yesterday 12/13. I brought it up today with the post office that I have not yet received the package even though the info reflected delivery. Post office said they would look into it, and 5 mins before they close, I get a message that their records show delivery at 10:17 a.m. Tues, 12/14. They then invited me to look at the paperwork they had. I suspect that when I review the so called paper work, it will just establish that the package was delivered to the wrong address. Who should I pursue this matter with: Hasbro, Post Office, or Dude that signed for my package. Clearly, the fault is with the Post Office, but I venture they will just make me file a claim and, perhaps, I will get reimbursed 6 months from now. However, I don't care so much about the money as getting my POC Wave 3. Do I go to Dude on the basis that he had committed mail fraud by accepting and retaining the package? Does Hasbro have a policy of replacing orders lost in transit even if it is not their fault. Or should I just chalk this up as a lesson as to why I should not rely on online transactions as my primary means of retail? |

I don't have to sign for packages from HTS; the mailman usually just leaves them by the door. I would definitely take it up with the post office first, and then try HTS customer service. Or it could be a police matter because someone may have swiped it from your doorstep.
Hopefully it was an honest mistake and your stuff shows up soon! |

Shhhhiiiittt Im in the same boat I thought all my ebay info had been updated but apparently when I paid for something items through Paypal they got shipped to my old address. I dont know what to do, should I try to pursue this person who didnt revert my mail back to the post office. I dont even know if the same person has lived there since we moved out of the apt. The leasing office wouldnt help at all.

I think I heard that FedEx reuses tracking numbers. HTS uses FedEx via USPS to deliver.
Did you track the number using FedEx?

When HTS did not specify which carrier it used so I tried UPS, FedEx, and USPS. I did not get any results from UPS or FedEx. The USPS site said it was delivered 1:00 PM 12/13, but did not indicate an address, just my city (also no signer info).

On another note, I'm playing the Beta for DC Universe online. As always, I am trying to make my character as slutty as possible. Closest I have come, withou simply not wearing anything, is to recreate Hellfire Club White Queen Emma Frost.
When I make my real character he will be called "El Hombre con el Queso del Diablo." Last edited by laurenluna1977; 12-15-2010 at 01:45 AM.. |
