obviously rumored and unconfirmed, but how sweet would a Dark Ms Marvel, Beast, and X-23 be?!! also, i'm sure Marvel Digital Comics is going to offer up that f@cking XFAA. they have to. it would be so stupid if they didn't. i mean, the card itself has Marvel Digital Comics emblazoned all over it, so why would they do all that work for a comic con exclusive? makes no sense.
caveat to all of you paying up the wazoo for XFAA. try holding out. what's the worst that can happen? you don't get your beloved jewel, but you save $125-$150. don't feed the scalper Gremlins, my friends!!! But how is someone selling a rare fig/exclusive all the sudden a scalper? How much are people buying up and selling regular AA's and death mask AA's? To me a scalper is the person who goes to an area knows when trucks hit, take all the IN DEMAND toys they can get their hands on, with the sole intent to sell it for profit. Scalpers are the people who create an unneccessary rarity and profit from it, and with their excessive returns screw up the stores inventories. How much did you sell you Jean Grey for? How much is your archangel going for? would that make you a scalper? The cost associated with obtaining the figure also factors into price i'm sure. There are probably people that drive all over and spend just as much on gas as their markup. I know that there is an organized group of scalpers in my area and one in the olympia area as well. do you know how much it costs to go to NYCC? factor in shipping, ticket costs, hotels, etc... No one knows what anybody listing anything paid for something like that. TTT slaughter is the same thing. We know you got screwed out of $16 for your XF AA. You decided to sell your toy collection to pay for your gangster wedding (good luck and best wishes on that by the way) How much would you be selling your XF AA right now? Quote:
------------------------ on another note. If you were going to make a Gladiator custom... Which head would you use with storm's mohawk and sentry's body? (Sentry seemed like the obvious choice)

It's fuzzy but I remember getting denied at the Korean place, so having to end up at a Thai place after all. I told JX80 that Thai is more intense than Korean so that he should stick to "regular stuff." But Noooo, he had to get top shelf. Now who's ass is on fire. Me, my pee don't burn; my pee DON'T BURN. In all seriousness though. Thanks to Shockwave for the great evening and hospitality! He had/has really awesome stuff and fair prices IMO; he's also a pretty cool cat - not a lot of people can discuss postmordenist literary theory and Transformers all in one go. It's a little regretful that I am meeting all these cool Tankers just when they are doing away with "childish things." Having said all that though, and after meeting soon-to-be Mrs. Shockwave, I can see why he is giving it all up to enter into an instutution [of matrimony]. You are a very very lucky man Shockwave; for that much karma though, you must have been a freakin' saint previously. [Still, it was a pretty nice collection especially displayed together] Any way, I really got to get back out there, especially now that I got get there ahead of Black Swan. Just kidding. Thanks again Shockwave! To be fair, I always carry lube and spatula wherever I go; the spatula for the spreading and the lube for the tearing. |

Cool, the second one you ordered or the first? Any word yet from ToyStoreInc?? ------------------------ on another note. If you were going to make a Gladiator custom... Which head would you use with storm's mohawk and sentry's body? (Sentry seemed like the obvious choice) We shall see! I'm opening up the one I get tonight though, and adding him to my display! *someone here might know a good one off of the top of their head, but I'm going to think about that one... |

They don't have to do anything. You couldn't outright buy them at the con either you had to sign up for a sub for the digital comic. After day one the made it so that it had to be an annual sub. They still ran out. It was never intended to be a Con exclusive Just to debut at the con. AA is super popular. They had tons of people pass on nick fury when he was available at SDCC and other cons. He was available on the net and he still goes for over a bill. AA is more popular and will always go for more.
