On a similar note, has anybody checked out the intro to the new Iron Man anime show that will apparently air on G4? It looks pretty impressive as well - and it sounds like there will be 3 additional shows, including X-Men and Wolverine - I don't remember what the 4th is.

Episode 1 wasn't bad. I don't get why so many people are "upset" over the animation as it looked pretty good. It's not Madhouse's OVA quality animation, but it's a G** D**N TV SHOW people! TV Shows don't get those kind of budgets. Check out some of Madhouse's TV work and this looks pretty damn good. Anyway, the series takes place in Japan (in-between the two movies) with Tony weighing retirement (He's built a new "Dio" armor for a string of three test pilots to use. You know how well this will go quickly given both Guardsman... Rhodey in IM and WM armor...) and trying to build a new ARC Reactor in Japan while learning to understand Japanese culture. Villains are The Zodiac group with armors matching each of their Zodiac signs to fight Tony and (EP1 SPOILER) steal the Dio armor. Warren Ellis sketched out the plot arcs for all the episodes in the 4 series deal, but said he has no control over if they followed them or not when it was sent to the actual series writers & Madhouse. Characters from all four series are suppose crossover to each other's show.

I thought the figure was decent, especially given it was free with a service that I use and really like. I've enjoyed the digital comics service for about 18 months and recently stopped getting comics in favor of reading what I can with the online service. It isn't perfect - they're missing key issues here and there, but over the past 6-12 months they've added some key cross-overs and event issues. I read all of Civil War, most of New Avengers, the first 30-40 issues of the current Captain America series, etc. For the price it is well worth it to me. And if you give me a figure along with my subscription, even better.

How much is the subscription? I read most of my comics online now anyways and I want the X-Force Archangel for sure.

When Fury was up, it was a 3-month sub requirement of $24.99 + another $5-6 paid seperately to get Fury. Now it's just a matter of waiting for Arc to be posted...

If it looks worth the money, I'll sign up. I really wanted Nick Fury because I'm a long time (read: pre-Ultimate) fan, but he's not that great a figure that I'd spend $50+.
