I would if they were the $9 ones, but the shipping would probably even them out to buying them locally. Quote:
All but one of the variants (Astral Strange) hit retail here easily. I could have picked up 5 or 6 Metal Absorbing Mans by the end, but I only had a use for the human prison body. In addition I still have friends who will txt me to ask if I have something if they find new MU figures.
You can list off every MU variant (not counting card changes like the black vs gold SHIELD logo, upside down vs rightside up figures, or the gloss/matte stuff. True variants like Metal Absorbing Man vs Human Absorbing Man) and I'll point out how many I've seen and possibly passed on. Personally, I know Albuquerque as a whole got 3 total Metal Abbys, and I only saw one of those. :/ I guess I just need better hookups on variants... Quote:

Great job on your first custom! Quote:
Let me ask you or anybody "in the know" how extra figures in cases work...
For example, the Ghost Rider in the w18 case...how is Hasbro still able to produce the insert Hammer File Card and the figure stands when both are now out of production? Doesn't that seem like more work on their end to recreate the things? I would have thought that the GR and OG Hulk would be without the Fury file inserts. I hope I explained that correctly...thoughts? Quote:
I believe it is more expensive to create those cards and even the stands while the new ones don't have them, but I also believe that the cost of producing a figure is on a per-figure basis. So if Hulk from Series 1 only costs $5 total to produce him in the configuration he first came in, and Hulk from Wave 18 costs the same without a card or stand, they're good, they do each as it was outlined. At least that's the only way it makes sense to me... I just got a notification from BBTS that says I have the 5 figures from Wave 18 in my POL for the awful price of $63.28 shipped, at $12.66 a fig. I'm debating cancelling it (since it's a 50/50 shot that it's the variants at this point) and putting the credit towards the Wave 19 case of 12. Any advice? I feel like these 5 figures will be widely available in as little as two weeks at a cheaper price, especially if I don't get the variants. How long do I have to be able to cancel it out of my POL and get credit? Can I wait awhile? Are the Upside-Down Beast and Miles figs even worth paying almost $13 for each of them? I'm conflicted. :( |

I bleed silver and blue. Always have, always will... which starts a war with my mother every year who is a hardcore Oilers fan and means she now pulls for the Titans.

Is the Sentinel new, or does he just chill around with recent buys?
