Just got back.
The doctor said the same thing I have been saying all along. That it's unclear just yet if he's not talking because there's an issue, or because he just doesn't feel like it. He was concerned that he sometimes regresses, or forgets things he seems to have learned before. But he said we have to wait until he's three and then talk to the school district about having him evaluated. My daughter in 1st and 2nd grade wouldn't listen to her teacher at the end of "reading time." At essence she wanted to keep reading (but being little she wasn't great at expressing this, and the teacher wasn;t the best and noticing this as well). The school wanted us to visit a "specialist" to diagnose if she had ADHD, he said she did, They wanted to put her on Riddlin (which has some very harmfull effects if you are NOT ADHD). Thankfully my dad had done tons of work in learning differences and went to the school board with me to argue with the "specialist" I will never forget my diad looking at the guy while he pronounced her ADHD over and over and finally, very calmly but firmly saying "How can a child with attention defict be so FOCUSED, it defies the definition." When pressed on the specifics (that she wanted to focus on something other than the teacher wanted her to) the specialist couldn't come up with an answer. He tried to threaten me and my wife for refusing to give her riddlin, but that went no where fast when my Dad started quoting his credentals and starting asking the specialist what his were, specialist refused to answer and shortly after resigned his position for some strange reason, guess he couldn't focus on it ;-) Point is don't be so quick to accept any old explaination even if the person is supposed to know what they are talking about, sometimes they don't. |

Not me. I've been watching zombie stuff since I was in grade school. As long as they don't wuss it up like Twilight did for Vampires I'll keep being interested.

That I could do without. Its hard enough to get normal versions of a lot of characters I don't want them wasting wave spots on zombie wolverine and other zombie pegwarmer characters.

Zombie Vipers are about the extent of my affinity for anything zombie in action figure form.

hit meijer and wal mart this morning...here's a run down.
Just a few Avengers wave one at both stores...no wave 2 or 3. No Gi Joe at all--not even 1 figure. Wally had...6" avengers Thor, Cap, iron man....a bunch of those 3. One marvel Legend...stealth iron Man. MU--a few 2 packs (gambit actually), some of wave 17 and the Apocalypse revision. Meijer still had teh same spider-woman and cyclops and gladiator for the past 6 months at least. Star Wars was more of the same wave 1 TVC, ric ollie and crappy re-carded figures from January that no one wanted or asked for. Abysmal. The only figures that could theoretically sell at this point are wave 3 legends, wave 18 MU, new 2 packs or new SW. The funny thing is that most of the stock is way down or nearly empty, and there is just not much there..............been that way since January as well after that initial reset.

I think zombies are inherently safe from being twilighted. There is a movie called Zombie Honeymoon, thats about as close as they can get.

So you wouldn't buy a Juliet Sterling figure?

A zombie infection where you don't die and crave brains- but actually just stop aging and have a desire for human flesh that can be held back by the power of love. I'm so writing that book! The teen angst will be the stuff of legends!
