Tough to say, I don't even know if there was an official statement. Do you want to wait and see, or should I hunt down the news? It was a bit confusing.

Hey SciFri where are some good sites with custom heads for the 12 figures? I've already pieced together a Breaker online for about $80 (Over Time), but I'm wanting a good Clutch head before I try to piece him together.

More often than not, custom heads you'll find on forums made by people. Check out Sideshow Collectors and onesixthwarriors.com. As for sites, the best I've found for 1/6 stuff are blackopstoys.com, toyanxiety.com, redplanettoys.com, and Monkey Depot - The Finest in Scale Military. Outside of that ebay. For Clutch I suggest you get the Sideshow Rock n Roll head and have it repainted. One of the best priced and best painters around is a guy called Skiman, check out this repaint of Rock n Roll into Clutch he did. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

Yup, it's pretty sweet. It's not exactly "cheap" to get custom paint jobs like that, but he's got the best prices I know of, and his work is exceptional. I've commissioned him to paint my Duke head, like the one he has on his page. It's incredible the amount of difference between the SS paint job and his.

Looked thru his album. Love the Clutch and RnR repaints. Dukes nice, but look at his Dusty, is it me me or is that Channing Tatum?

He's doing a new hood for Zartan too, you can see it in his Zartan pictures. I'm getting that from him as well when he starts making them. I'm not sure if I'm going to end up doing a separate Zartan figure with it or not. It would lend itself well to almost any other version of him, like Resolute or Renegades.

Haha, yup, exactly. If I had the money I would just get non-Hot Toys heads repainted all the time, haha. It's great that Sideshow has gotten much better with their sculpting and painting though. I still that Duke is one of their best sculpts, it's held up really well. I'd love to get the Evil Duke head but I missed out, and I didn't feel the need pay $50 for it, that just opens up a can of worms since I'd need put it on ARAH Duke.
