Yeah I know what Jim Lee's designs look like, like I said I was thinking of the 90s cartoon not the actual comics. I was thinking of the wrong portrayal of the DPS. (JL Cyclops is my favorite Cyclops ever, no contest).

so catwoman's ears are really just her goggles flipped up on her head.... I sort of dig nolan's 'real-world' take on batman but i also won't mind being around long enough to see the next series go full on superhero again.... but leave the 'camp' at the door. Superheroes don't have to be tongue-in-cheek schumacher crap- but they also don't have to be afraid of their comic-book roots like nolan.... hopefully DC takes a page from the marvel movies and can do Batman some justice (League) next go-round
The Batmobile's race against time across the rooftops of Gotham would have been an exciting escapade in an average action film. But here, the hyper realism makes the chase seem more forced and absurd. Or, take Gordon's "plan" to capture the Joker. To fake his death, then hide out as a driver leading Harvey Dent through the streets as a lure for the Joker. How many officers were killed or injured during this maneuver? How many innocent civilians had to avoid the Bat Pod? In both instances you are forced to take standard action movie fare and look at it differently and all you can see is stupidity.

J/K. Hahaha, wow, did you play it cool or go "I've read it all..."? Are you keeping up with the current Winter Soldier series? I'm collecting it, I'm enjoying it so far.

I made the mistake of wearing a Captsin America cap to my daughter's school function the other day and had to listen to some dad go on and on about the genius of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This somehow led to his claim that Firefly was actually the story of states rights versus fascist liberals, and was an homage or somehow supported the Confederation in the civil war which was all about states rights and nothing to do with slavery. ?????????????

Haha, good come back Lo. ;) Yeah, the original Winter Soldier arc is really, really good. I think you'll enjoy it. Winter Soldier is probably Marvel's best "new" character in years. I say new since, come on, he essentially is a complete retcon/reboot of the character.
